Yellowing leaves with brown spots on fan leaves

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Rodman743, Oct 21, 2013.

  1. These just showed up today, a few yellowing leaves with brown spots. Green Crack, day 37 of flower, three weeks of flower left. Switched to budblaster and ripener and molasses a week ago, it received second feeding yesterday, will start flush in about a week. I know yellowing and dying of fan leaves in late flower is normal, a couple of my other plants have been losing leaves for last week. None of the other plants have any brown spots with their yellowing leaves. This was the first time the Crack had showed any yellowing leaves.

  2. What's the molasses for?

Try keeping a balanced regimen and consistent purging of your medium and you won't end up with lockouts.

  3. P-k def is normaly shown by brown spots.. molasas is good for feeding the soil and ment to make the bud taste sweeter...

  4. You only "feed" full on organic soil...there's nothing living in a chemical fert medium, and adding sugars isn't going to make your pot taste sweeter lest you dump it straight on the bud and eat the freaking thing. If you want sweet buds grow a strain that has the genetic disposition in one or more of its phenotypes.

Ill tell you what the molasses IS doing...throwing off the balance of elements and causing yet another lockout that will almost certainly be blamed on ph or a "lack" of that element.

  5. It was my understanding that the molasses helps break down built up nutes in soil. But I am a Newb, basically my first grow. As far as this plant, Green Crack, it has received its last budblaster and ripener watering, flushing will start thursday or friday.

The effected leaves have degraded further, more have yellowed and most have just yellowed, no big brown spots.

The buds continue to grow, new pistils shooting out at different spots around them. This girl has the most dense buds of all my plants. But trichs a little less than a couple others.

I will say this plant really slowed down flower growth a couple weeks ago, it started flower with a bang, was the best looking of all my plants.

Would not be surprised if it suffered some nute lock at that point. If I knew know what I think I know now I may have done a flush a couple weeks ago.

Considering a little less than two weeks till harvest is there really any action necessary???

    Thanks for your feedback!

  7. P= phosforus(sp) and K = potassium
Just hit her with some more nutes if you can bloom nutes has more P and K

  8. Oh got it. I put the Green Crack on Bloom nutes, Supernatural Budblaster and Ripener about 10 days ago, fed twice with this mix.
I am pretty sure no further action is going to be required considering harvest is less than two weeks away.

Thanks for your info and feedback!
