so I live with one roommate, they do not know I grow. My grow cabinet is located within a deadbolted, fully sealed room (my office). The inline fan/carbon filter has a slight buzz, and im just curious as to what excuse I could give my roommate in the slim chance he asks? Just trying to be prepared.
he will eventually find out trust me. unless you want to say you're hiding dead birds in there for a project or something but um if he's cool, then just be honest. educate him with cannabis if he's open to it
I run my own business, so having a locked office isn't exactly unreasonable as there is expensive equipment/product in there. Im looking more for an excuse as to what the noise is.
regardless, even if they do smoke, why would I tell them? I tell nobody, not even my fiance. Nobody is allowed in my office.
its just the right thing to do if somebody is living in the same residence to let them know, if you can't trust them then maybe you should not be living with them and thought of that before hand? as for the noise situation just say its a dehumidifier or get a new fancy led neon light
My whole setup is all LED, the problem is my Inline Fan that runs between the carbon filter and grow cabinet. I don't believe that my roommates have any business knowing what goes on in my office, it's not that I don't trust living with them, its that I don't trust that they can keep their mouths shut. My fiance lives with me and has no idea either, my office is off limits.
Say u got a mini fridge in there that makes a buzzing sound or something like that. Or say its a neon sign u hung up for decoration. This is assuming nobody is even allowed to look into your office. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
its not buzzing, its a clear whoosh sound, (even on low fan setting w/fan controller). The mini fridge may be a decent idea, ill have to compare the sounds.
I say get a fan and keep it on in the room a standup fan that oscaletes should be loud enough to drown out noise or atleast you can say its that
