Anything by the doorsYou know that it would be untrue, you know that I would be a liar, if I was to say to you, girl we couldn't get much higher
I don't know really. I've gotten into some real weird instrumental shit the past year and a half or so. But that's because I'd started smoking a shit load of weed after moving out of my parents house and was already into some doom/sludge/stoner metal like Earth, and just started experimenting in those genres' realms. But yeah, it got weird and whenever I would smoke listening to these real drugged-out tracks, I got to feel kinda depressed when I'd smoke. Or just feel way too introspective and shit. So I quit listening to music while smoking and after smoking and would just toke up while watching Always Sunny or Workaholics or a good movie. But recently, I've started listening to a new one for me called My Education, an Austin, TX band I think who've been around for a while. Earth and Pelican mesmerized me though when I'd smoke and listen to 'em. Suggestions from me regarding these 3 groups: Earth - The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull, Descent to the Zenith, Old Black, or Tallahassee Pelican - Bliss in Concrete, Spaceship Broken Parts Needed, What We All Come to Need, or Strung Up from the Sky (I've heard their earlier stuff is better, but in my opinion, they still kick some major ass) My Education - (Again new to me, so only a good one I've heard) Aria But shit, I can also dig on some Doors, Lemonheads, RATM, Nirvana, Steve Miller Band, etc., etc.
