I see maybe some minor light damage. Yes that is what I said. When your leaves "taco" it is either light stress or magnesium deficiency. In your case it is light stress and is only a minor case. How do I know it is light stress? The same way you do, it is on upper leaves and mostly the ones closest to the light. I assume this is what made you suspect light stress. Magnesium deficiency would be lower and then gradually move up. Also there would be some yellowing with Magnesium deficiency. Moving the light back a bit will solve this and it is so minor you will have no real issue with it.
thanks gar, you called it right. That's what I suspected and why I suspected it. I have since rotated the girls and raised the light. I hope to have fixed that minor issue. I'll have to be more vigilant with my checking. Clearly once a day is insufficient. I recommend CFL's, I know you have not warmed up to them yet. If you ever try them you will though. I did. They are so energy efficient that I just do not see how a grower can ignore them.
i am looking into them for a rig up until my package arrives. They seem to be quite efficient I'm mainly just trying to work with what I have and not have to buy to much extra stuff as I will be buying my flower setup before I know it. With the 2 four foot 4 tube fixtures I should have plenty of veg light when I get the tubes they just can't seem to get them to me. I might have to do some sort of cfl rig up if I end up with a reshipment on the tubes. Honestly, the first move I would make is to put the 2 foot T-5 over the vegging plants and not over the clones. I used to run a 2 foot T-5 over my clones, but it is a waste of power. The last clones I took (last month) I put no light over them. I set them close to my mothers and they rooted in 9 days off of residual light. I will do this every time from now on cause it is light wasted now in my opinion.

the 2 footer I have is over the 4 vegging plants along with 2 clamp lights. I haven't taken clones off the plants yet. I originally planned on using the 4 foot fixtures for veg and the 2 footer for clone but if I can get by without using the 2 footer for clone and utilize it somewhere else in veg that would work too. Tomorrow will be a big day determining how this turns. Ok so I think I've found my tubes. I dot have them in my possession but fedex told me their driver delivered it to a neighbor with a similar address number. I'm omw to their house now to see if they have it or if it's still on the stoop or something. I got the tubes. They were still sitting on a neighbors stoop. God it feels so good to have these things. I wish I had more time but I have to get back to work. well during my extend phone conversations we determined that it was wrongly delivered cuz I didn't have it and neither did they. There's a house in my neighborhood that has same address as me only one number off so I can see how he mistook it but when the rep from FedEx called him he told her exactly which house he took it to an that just so happens to be the house with the similar address numbers. All in all I'm glad to have the lights and I'm glad to have them now and not a reshipment a week from now. here are my 2 fixtures he they are all lit up. It's so bright of a light it makes the room look dark in the photo. Gonna be working on getting a mounting plate together tonight so I can raise and lower all at once.
