helicopters seeing large patches of autos?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Sammyy, Oct 1, 2013.

  1. Where I will be living this winter/next summer I'm allowed the ability of growing year round. Me and my partners have been thinking about some plans for running a large amount of autos (200+) over winter and probably again in the summer with the photos but just in greater numbers. the plans are for roughly 50 per spot. I've never worried about choppers before but I went large plants in small numbers (photos
) in each spot so it never worried me. So my question is, 50ish maybe even 75 autos per spot most likely staggered as i know anything in rows will cause attention, whats the chances of a chopper spotting them? I guess im just a little worried due to the large numbers per spot.
    Thanks.

  2. gorilla grow or property?

  3. sorry i forgot to mention that..guerilla grow out in the sticks.

  4. 50-75 might be too much, maybe a whole lot of patches of 10-15

  5. i second this

Have you grown before? 200 plants is going to be a lot of work for 2 people. Do you even understand how much water you're going to need to carry? If this isn't a legal grow, it's gonna be hell man.

50 autos per spot is asking for it to be spotted. Just grow 10 monsters.. Most of the auto grows I see are leafy, ugly, and just not worth the time and effort. Grow something to be proud of.

It's better than caring for 190 more plants.

    how about that!!!

I have help grown 700 outdoor before was hard work but we had aregation hose runing down to all the plants , I rather do 100 big one then 700 medium size js , auto isn't worth the time

  13. of course ive grown before but thank you all for the replies. its 5 people not two..weve decided to cut it down to 75 autos over winter with 25 each plot running irrigation lines for watering..see how this goes and go from there. thanks.

Good thinkin but what's the obsession with autos? I think they're pretty disappointing unless you're rushing a harvest or something and it's always a considerably less yield.

  15. i don't like autos at all..they are a waste of time, i like trees

\twell we wanted the autos for a winter harvest since the photos wouldnt really have any time of actual veg time during that time then in the summertime for an early harvest before the photos are done

  17. Considering he already said he's going to grow photos in the summertime I'm assuming he's gonna grow the autos because the light times aren't right because it's about to be winter...

Yeah autos aren't that great but they're better than growing nothing in the winter when you have the climate to.

do you have to worry about Frost Or cold Night when Doing in winter? im Doing a second harvest too vegging indoor for 2 month and puting it in hoop house middle Or late nov, useing a radiator Or propane heater for cold night, you can plant as much as you want, cause they dont really look in winter ..

  19.
No frosts shouldnt be a problem where im going..i leave Nov18 to go south to meet with my partners..temps shouldnt drop below 50 but more in the 60 range for the lows. lol man i didnt even think of that..its winter so choppers wont really be on the lookout for plants specifically really..that puts my mind at ease.
good luck on your winter grow man
