Paranoid about security. Is browsing internet even safe?

  1. Hi guys
I have little problem here. As I mentioned before I might be paranoid or even silly but something just popped into my head. I'm trying my best to stay safe like
Make sure there is no artificial light comming out of my house at night
    Odour control
Don't talk around about my grow
But now I'm thinking about other ways people can find out. I have only 130~w grow so I'm not worried about people from electricity getting suspicious, I don't buy weed related products online (as far as i know most companies ship under other name so its quite safe anyway) so post office is cool too but I'm not quite sure about my internet provider. Lets say I browse grasscity and few other websites couple times a day. Will my internet provider pay attention to that? I mean do they do some sort of "filtering" of what everyone watch on internet and when filter spot certain keywords it will alarm them? I live in uk and get my internet from Virgin Media so I guess they're quite big and they have thousands of customers. Will someone like me attract their attention in somehow?

  2. Relax dude, you are not that important...

Follow those 3 rules an you'll be okay

  4. Anyone seen the new documentary
"Terms and conditions may apply". Wouldn't even be posting this question if it were up to me.... Yes... It's all here ... For whomever needs or wants to find it. My rule... If you don't want it found... Don't talk about it. Especially online! That only makes it possible for the entire world to somehow know...
    Risky?! You be the judge

"I peed my pants and my mom had to bring me clothes" ... So they got upset when it turned up public....? Ahhhh. Why....?. Some things are undoubtedly better left unsaid, untyped, unliked and simply NOT posted! Just saying.... If someone said there are shark.... I wouldn't be testing the waters.

To you...and prevent you from further accessing it. However... IF YOU HAVE "AGREED" to virtually any large well known online site....You've already "given" them that info and it's there for at least 5 years! ...they also have proven that they will.... With little hesitation and usually to further their gain... Hand over ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. believe it or not... Your Facebook file alone could consist of over 10000 pages of text. "You don't know you have something to hide... Until you do"

  8. Fuck'um! They can come and get me cause I'm tired.

If they want you, they already got you. They will knock on your door in their own sweet time. I don't believe facebook changes that.

  9. Your ISP isn't going to care you're on grasscity.

  10. Quick! Every Grass City member logout before it's too late!!!  :smoking:

  11. Your ISP and myself work for interpol, and we will find you and arrest you for browsing grass city. That will not be tolerated, especially somebody from the UK. You're going down man.

Don't mean to bump this thread or nothing, but I was always told in junior high ages ago everything you do never gets deleted. Used to laugh at those teachers from almost a decade ago, until the Nsa leaks came out. It sounds like we're in it, stoner, grower, or either

  13. Use the darknet. Using tor Sent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  14. If you are that paranoid you can subscribe to a VPN service. I use Private Internet Access - its decent but it slows your DL speed. I paid $40 for a year. If you could look up my IP right now it would say I am in New Jersey - pssst, I am not in New Jersey.

  15. Are they really worried about your little 130 watt grow though? surely you're not supplying your whole city with weed right? That's the way I feel about it, and if the feds do come busting down my door? Well, then I fucked up somewhere, but I'm not going to worry about that till it happens, and if it does? Fuck it, not shit I can do about it...

  16. So pia would be a good idea if you are wanting to post grow pictures for questions?

  17. As long as the photos didn't have any GPS or personal info in the EXIF data - that is what you really need to worry about. That is why I would never take a photo with a smart phone.

  18. I'm not the paranoid type, but it seemed like my ISP was playing games via DNS this morning.

I could access Google, Gmail, ESPN, and other sites.  I could not access this site, another MJ related site, and another non-MJ forum I visit often.  Just thought that certain sites not working was odd.

I remoted into my work PC (different ISP) and everything was fine.  I changed my interface settings to use Google's DNS servers and can get to all the sites.

My ISP could of just been having DNS issues.  I will check it tomorrow.

  19.
Everyone's important when there are perfectly good prisons that can be used to make money with new inmates.

yea friend.  Chill your ok.  Ive heard of only a couple peolple getting busted that way and that was because they were growing huge amounts.  I highly doubt 130 watts would even intrigue your local police.  Remember they have to have a reason for a warrant to even come in to even see the equivalent to a desktop light bulb over your stash.  2  If your that paranoid, like they say.  Your all online telling everyone your doing it without proper neccessities lol.  That along a close up of your face haha.  Here feds are only interested in 99+ plants.  enough to make a federal case and there the only one with that tech.  Your locals dont have it, and the feds wouldnt even make a case for the locals they'll just sit back and watch you and wait for you to f up.  Also don't sweat what you said online.  Lies are told everyday over this sight.  They'll have to prove it with pics and then even after that prove that there yours.

Another thing is that its alot of people growing here.  Some that grow a whole lot.  Why would they skip over everyone here just to get you.....Friend its normal to be paranoid, but keep your composier or you'll make mistakes like this post...
