420-Sharp Trimming Scissors?

  1. Has anybody tried these yet? I'm considering getting a pair but would like to know if anyone has used them and if they're worth the money:

eh sounds like a rip off to me i mean how many companies put 420 on a product and bam it sells like crazy no matter the price. i seriously doubt when your trimming some good high grade AAA buds nothing will stick to those scissors and they are only as precise as the user can be. imo you could find some trimmers at home depot or something that will do the job just as good if not better for the same price without the shipping and handling charge which for me would make them $20.00 scissors.

but if your wanting them get them i do like the look of em.

  4. Several things I noticed:

I DO like the non stick coating - good idea
I DONT like the fact that they have finger holes - trust me; they will give you blisters after a large trim job. I prefer the straight handles with no holes, such as those made by Fiskars.
I DONT like the fact that they don't have a spring - the spring that keeps the scissors open is a very handy part of trimming.

    My thoughts, anyhow...

  6. Well, I ordered two pairs and have to say that I absolutely love them. They're definately sharp and even though there's no spring action and the non-stick still gets goo on them they haven't gummed up and the goo scrapes off. Honestly they're lighter without a spring assembly and more nimble IMO. I'm curious how long they'll stay this sharp but overall they're replacing my old Fiskars.

  7. Good deal! Thanks for responding back after running them for a bit. Good info, good thread.
