  1. Hi thought i would start a grow journal never done it before so lets give it ago i appologise if my spelling is poor as not too good any way enough going on lets get down to the grow .
so as from the title its a wilma big 8 (18l pot) co2 sealed grow room i have some experience of grows hand feeding coco pots mainly sog so now trying to get plant numbers down and yeilds up !
heres a list of equipment :
    • 2 x 600w air cooled supernova (mh for veg  -  hps for flower)
    • wilma big 8
    • medium gold label 60/40 hydro coco (pebbles and coco)
    • eco techinics co2 doser
    • extech co100 (co2 temp humidity) monitor
    • blue lab guardian meter
    • and all usual oscalting fans ect
in this grow to the left are uk cheese (seed) and to the right are jaks (cuttings) the one in middle on right is also jaks but will prob remove when space gets tight they have been placed in big pots for 9 days and are 8" tall (see pic) jacks seem more bushy maybe as from cutting ? pheno could be slightly different ?

conditions - co2 on when lights on running between 1600-1300ppm lights off roughly 500ppm (co2 switched off when lights off) temp i am still adjusting as this sealed room is all new to me keeping between 29-32 canopy level 27 above lights (hotter due to co2) and humidity around 50% no extraction as of yet as using co2 filters in place for later in flower , no intake as again using co2.

nutes - at min using ph up /ph down , canna coco a+b , rhizotonic keeping it simple used so many different types but canna is what i know maybe switch to vitalkink for flower ?

pump times using double drippers at min but still not evenly spread enough for me so building a diy 13mm pipe dripper system later today will post up maybe tomro and plan to feed twice a day lights on to start (pumping until run off) see how get on with this been a mixed medium maybe can push 3-4 times in flower

anyway u get picture as will update couple times a week any tip or advice would be good as new to these system and sealed rooms ill stick some pics on now have fun

  2. In! Sick setup dude, I would like to maybe get into another 600w HPS setup and run 1200W's in our 5x5 tent maybe.. Subbed for sure!

  3. ye well space i have is 2m x1.2m where actual system is going on but have about another 1m2 of free space for fans meters co2 ect

  4. Ahhh very nice, one day we will have a room dedicated to growing lol. But for now we're isolated to using tents, but we've had good results so far so I can't complain. I'm going to introduce co2 into our 5x5 tent when we get it setup. I think it will help tremendously in a larger space like that.

  5. Very nice mate. how are you extracting the air? Obvo ur running co2 so are you shutting down the extraction qhilw you run it as I imagine it would just get sucked straight out the room?? Also id run that room at 90.f if you can keep a high supply of co2 as it will make the plants grow faster. Another good tip is to keep the mh on for the first 2 weeks of flower as it will help prevent the stretch mine tripled in the first 2 weeks because I forgot to leave my mhs on.. subd for sure.. what nutrients you using. Ph u aiming for? Etc etc

    My current grow.

  6. Only extract once just before lights go out to clear room it's completely sealed so co2 is kept at high levels constantly it's the co2 controller gasses room every 7 mins or something like that

    Ph I aim for 5.8 but it's up and down between 5.5 - 6.0

And nutes using canna a+b and rhizo for roots that's it keeping it simple until flower then I usually change over used advanced nutes last time made very high quality bud last time but very expensive

And temps I've heard different stories and read various studies mine is in between every thing I have read so I'm happy with that at min I'm starting to measure growth every other day now so will see and compare

And thanks for tip with mh this is first grow I've used them use dual spec normally all way throu

  7. And ye co2 is good I used it before but just as a additive to my inlet air but didn't meter it or anything but it def helps speed up veg time and grew bigger plants = bigger yeilds but to get full use out of co2 it properly gotta seal up ur tent and no intake feels very stuffy and hot with co2 and run ozone generators outside of tent for odour control

sounds like you have it pretty well organised, although do you not run into any smell issues, I know the room is sealed but there has to be some form of air escaping or the whole place would be come highly pressured and almost blow the door off when you touched the handle haha. usually I was under the impression the grow room is run like any other with the extraction on full time apart from 30 -45 minute breaks every 3-4 hours then have the c02 on to allow the co2 to be used for that time then taken away by the extractor then repeated   etc etc either way seems like a very good set up. how much has the c02 system cost to buy and maintain?

P.s Iv just hit day 28 of flower. check it out if u have the time. will be good for you to keep note as barr the C02 we are pretty much running the same..

  9. Ye smell isn't a massive issue but I keep
It under control best I can got filters in place to run at night lights off only run co2 through day when lights on some do run filters when co2 isn't dosing but mine is dosing every 10 - 15 mins gets upto 1500ppm - 1600ppm then drops to around 1000 then it's dosing again so my plants have constant good supply of co2 levels rather than peak then drop all time it's Eco technics controller and bottle was roughly £230 and monitor £150 so all In all £380 for co2 set up but monitor is a must because controller doesn't dose correctly that's what I have found anyway was only at 600ppm when programmed in to my room size

  10. We'll as you can see now things have really taken off they have grown between 4-5 inch taller and nearly tripled in width in the last week or so

They leaves in last few days have lightened I'm thinking maybe a lacking in nutes so upped them to 1.4-1.5 see how they like that finding with co2 there drinking a lot and nutes keep lowering so must be very hungry ! Ph is steady rising to 6.0 and having to lower every day going to change tank tomoro

As you can see I have made a DIY dripper system using garden hose and 2 maxi jet pumps wat a pain to get flow rates correct but it's dialed in now and feeds 4 times a day lights on for 15 mins seem to like that with 60/40 pebbles and coco

Can't think of much else to put was going to top them but can't see much point I think by time they are out of veg stage they will be beasts and bush enough as issuing mh bulbs upto 2nd week of flower may tie a few branches down

Any tips would be good thanks !

  11. On a second look I think maybe a magnesium deficiency gona grab some cal/mag later today
