Has anyone in the southern states ordered from banks?

  1. Im an aspiring grower and im wondering if anyone in say Tennessee or around there has ordered from World Seed Centre or somewhere like that. Did you use your real name and address? Did it arrive safely? Also does it come from ups/fedex because if it comes in mailbox other people that live with me might accidently open it. My people and I will be moving to Washington soon. But soon could mean 2 months or even like 6 months, really we'll just be in TN til our house sells. So also I want your opinion - should I wait til im in WA or go ahead and order em. I really want to order them but Im afraid hard ass southern authorities might jump on. Also would you go about ordering them as safely as possible? Thanks :) Also it will be a closet grow - don't smell don't sell don't tell

  2. They come USPS (in the mailbox), and I wouldn't be concerned about authorities finding them- it's a hassle to search mail and there is way too much of it to screen effectively.

As far as people in your house- if they're upset about the seeds, won't they be more upset when start growing them?

Only downside I see to not waiting is it'll be a pain if you move and your first grow isn't finished.

  3. Id say just wait unless you know the seeds will get there before you move out, wouldnt want em to get there once your gone

  4. I lived in East tn for about 7 years but recently moved to Colorado.

I ordered multiple orders from attitude seed bank while living in Tn. Most orders were between 30 to 50 seeds and every order arrived correctly in my mailbox in less than two weeks.

  5. @[member="joker865"] - Is there any option for it to come in a package to your doorstep or somethin like that? Also, what part of CO do ya live in - My family moved to mid TN from Fort Collins. We wish we stayed ha.

  6. As far as i know, postal delivery is the only option. You could get a po box if needed.

We moved just outside of Colorado Springs.

Hey. South central ky here. 10 minutes from Tennessee. I would reccomend herbies for their excellent stealth shipping

  8. ^Please do not discuss the details of seed bank packaging on this forum. Jdiditok, I'd like to suggest you edit your post to remove these details. You don't have to delete the post, but the specific details about packaging would be best if removed.

For all we know, the agents at U.S. Customs read this forum to learn what kind of packaging to look for to intercept. We don't need to help them out by describing those details here. And frankly, the details really are not of much help to anyone asking about the shipping.

To anyone asking about the shipping, the seed banks vary one from the next in how they send out the beans, and most seed banks change their methods over time as well. Sometimes they try to disguise the beans in some sort of everyday item. In all cases they try to make the package or envelope's outer appearance as nondescript as possible, so it will just blend in with all the other mail.

Customs does intercept seed shipments on occasion, it's just luck of the draw. It isn't as though they tend to check mail only from one seedbank or inbound to only one part of the U.S., it's pretty much random. As others have said, the overall volume is so large that they can only check a tiny percentage, the odds are in your favor. Some seedbanks offer a "guaranteed delivery", for an extra fee you pay up front if your beans never make it they will replace them. Generally, however, the premium they charge is not worth the risk you are incurring.

  9. Stupid Q - i know everyone asks this but i have to be sure - would it be a good idea to put a fake name? Also if you were in my shoes would you order them in TN or be patient and order when you move to WA? TN pros - i really want to start growing soon. I could possibly get at least one harvest before i move. Cons- Police bust ass over the smallest pinch of ganja don here. Also as Panthiest noted i might have to move before harvest which wouldnt be good. WA - Pros - Everyones real chill about the holy herb over there. Theres a Hempfest thsre for christs sake. Cons - i really wanna start groing haha @Panthiest - it will be an extra stealthy closet grow

  10. I have had seeds delivered to both middle Tennessee and western Kentucky from NIrvana. No problems. If it were me I'd have them delivered now, in Tennessee, and then wait till I was in Washington to grow.

  11. @[member="usandthem"] ya man thats probably what ill do. Im thinkin bout ordering from herbies - how is Nirvana?

There should be no difference between your delivery location choices from the standpoint of whether the beans will arrive or not -- if they get intercepted it will be by federal inspectors at a main processing center, your local LEO is not part of the equation. What you do with the beans after you get them, yes that is all local LEO.

Fake name = possibility the postman might not deliver the package.

The one thing I will never do when ordering beans is to use a credit card. Kinda hard to deny it's you who placed the order when the charge is on your credit card and the shipment is to your address. Use a money order and don't leave a paper trail.
