  1. I read it straight off the bottle JJ! lol

  2. Since I have FoxFarms Grow Big and Big Bloom already, if they aren't hard to use, I'll keep them around and add Tiger Bloom.

If you check out the FF feeding schedule they actually are meant to all be used in conjunction. Tiger Bloom is used all the way throughout flower, Grow big in certain weeks and I think you can use Big Bloom throughout your entire grow. FF nutes are very acidic. I can't stress enough that having your pH meter calibrated every feeding is essential until you get a feel for using them. Start with a low dose and work your way up.Journal- http://d.pr/NLS6

  4.
    No, I don't understand.

Let me explain - I use 1 gallon jugs of distilled water.  For flushing, can I use anything - tap water fresh from the tap?  And what is the different between RO and Distilled water?  You seem to say you use RO, but I can't tell if it's for everything (flushing included).

    See what I mean?

  5. IMO you should be using the FF trio if you want to stick with FF. Grow, tiger bloom and big bloom. CalMag contains little nitrogen.

  6.
Ok, will calibrate my pH meter every feeding & will get Tiger Bloom as well.  I see that schedule now.

But what pH should the mix of water/nutes be when I pour it into the plant?

  7. Oh, to be honest, I do not know how they "distill" water....
RO is Reverse Osmosis, my tap water is around 150ppm and 7.2, it comes out of the RO filter at 0ppm at 7.0 pH....

I also do not "store" water from the RO system, I make enough to mix my nutrients and water the plants...
The flushing, I do not have that amount on hand, so I use the 150ppm/7.2 pH tap water to flush my plants, and yet to have a problem after going on my 3th year doing the coco runs, exactly the way I've been doing...

    And you've seen my yields.....

  8. I believed distilled water is boiled and the evaporation is allowed to condense and collected to remove impurities. Distilled water has no buffer and adding salts of any kind can swing pH easier than tap water.

Damn, that bud is sick.  I'm determined to get mine half that size one day!

I buy water at the store in 1 gallon jugs called "Distilled water" - Steam Distillation, Filtered, and Ozonated.

I don't know what my tap water is, but I can check the pH.  I don't have a PPM meter.

  10. So it's the same as a proper working RO filter, just processed a different way sound like....  :confused_2:

You really need one, if even an el'cheapo....
Because you could be feeding to hot for one, but just right for the other strain.....
Most all require slightly different nutrient levels, so if even though you're a couple hundred points over, that could make a huge difference between one strain to the next....

  12.
    Thank you, sir.

I am very familiar with magnesium sulfate.  It's a natural mineral fertilizer.  I have never used Cal/Mag supplements and am unfamiliar with the molecular forms they come in.  Perhaps the word "derived" threw me off...  :confused_2:

Let us continue the investigation...  :bongin:

  13.
My tap water is 7.6 - just checked.  So, is the answer that it doesn't matter what the pH of the water flush is?

So would the last several gallons of that flush be flushed with the proper RO / distilled water at the correct pH (which is? 6.5 correct?).

  14.
    Just ordered one.

  15. I'd like to flush it today.  I just need to know what pH I need to get these gallon jugs to.

Your tap water might be okay to feed with especially since FF nutes are acidic. If you get a ppm meter on amazon for around $15 you can get an idea of the dissolved solids in it. Or look online for info on the quality of your local water sourceJournal- http://d.pr/NLS6

  17. You want to pH a 7.6 to 6.4 maybe 6.8 tops....
So maybe do a 5gal bucket at a time... :confused_2:

  18. Sorry if I missed the answer, but since the calibration of your pH meter did you check your runoff pH?

  19. I believe he said it was 6.4 but I could be mistaken.

  20. Which FF soil are you using?
