  1. im stoned in the middle of watching the movie now and this shit is trippy while high from the visuals and hilarious unintentionally because the way the girl talks it makes you like what? but i know this movie is kinda kiddy but trust me watch it while stoned!!

  2. It's a great movie, and hardly kiddie... It deals with loss, regret, and a full spectrum of emotions.

Years ago I watched it, and it stapled it as one of the best films I have seen. If you haven't seen it yet, enjoy.

  9. I don't know if this is a good first post, seeing that I'll make myself out to be a giant pussy, but in regards to watching Terebithia high...

Let's just say that weed tends to make me more emotional, and I cried like a baby for the entire 2nd half of the movie...in fact, I seriously can't think of a movie that made me cry more than this one.

I do love how deceptive Disney was in marketing the movie. The trailers portrayed a 2nd rate Chronicles of Narnia wannabe, but the actual movie was so much deeper, touching, and a thousand times better than the the trailer made it look like the movie would turn out. I don't blame them though. I think if their advertising was honest about what the movie's really about, it wouldn't have found an audience outside of the people who read the book.

  10. We read the book when i was in 5th grade...20 years ago, before the movie. I cried my eyes out. My 5th grade teacher called me Leslie forever after that. My son now attends the same elementary school as I did. I ran into my 5th grade teacher during orientation. He remembered my last name and told the story of me sitting in the corner, big alligator tears rolling down my cheeks.

    Excellent book. Movie was good.

Have you re-read the book as an adult? I loved the movie and I'm curious to read the book now. Though I don't know if I should read it at work. I'd hate to be caught crying for a kids book, when half the guys that surround me at work are hard edged alpha males.
