Honestly OP you shouldn't kill spiders. They are fairly sensitive to your presence and will most likely avoid you! Black widows do have a nasty bite but they aren't aggressive towards humans. You should try trapping them and transporting them to an area you feel comfortable with. Those suckers are undoubtedly the best form of pest control. Don't be afraid of spiders man they are awesome. ^_^
