Experiment late outdoor grow Started August 1st

    So its opposite of ocean effect I get that sucks. I am ten minutes from the ocean and it helps. I found a map online that shows average 1st frost most of MA is Sept beginning of Oct. Thanks to to the ocean my area is late Oct it claimed early Nov but I know that's bs from living here. Sometimes there's an early frost though and it comes with no warning. That worries me that's why I made a little greenhouse to cover it incase it cools down. I wish I lived in Cali

    Yeah, Cali would be that spot...a fellow blade on here was showin pics of his plants and they are freak of nature huge...But we just gotta make do with what we got an make it happen,right? :metal:

    Yea I know seen some crazy grows on here. Next year will get early start. Start it indoors bring em out around mid May when no chance of frost. Just gotta find little more discrete location a lot of air traffic in summer including some popo. Since I live way out they search for grow sites. I def want to try a full indoor grow that's what most do in cold areas like ours. Just gotta save for good equipment don't wanna half ass it.

    Yeah I feel ya,Im savin up so I can have a decent setup and something not super ghetto,but as long as I get bud, I dont really care.But shit, I started my biggest one in April, brought it outside in May(like you said,minimum frost risk), and this bad bitch is JUST starting to preflower!But I love her, if she was a woman I'd call her my "boo". Well, I kinda already call her that... :metal:

    Hopefully I'll hit big at the Casino tonight and be able to afford a fancy setup,or even a move out to NorCal!(Yeah right...)

    Yea mine just started showing the start of bud clusters at top of colas so far just a bunch of pistols. I agree am happy with whatever I get. Crazy thing is had a chance to move to cali with chic but was friends ex so yea nope. I fig can do a decent set up indoors for bout $200 not counting soil nutes ect... Some descent lights and build a grow box cause don't have spare closet. Grow short bushy lst plants 4 weeks veg then flower. Been reading about people starting from seed on 12/12 and having good results.

    Hit submit by accident lol. Anyway they set timer to 12/12 from very beginning makes em jump straight to flower almost. Small little sog type plants

    They don't bother with 14/10, 18/6, or 24/0 lights are 12/12 all the way through. Some do due.24/0 for 1st week

    No offense,but thats bull.I say this cause i dont wanna see you waste money. When you plant from seed, you have to wait at least 30 days before you go to 12/12 cause your plant needs to be mature before u try to flower...think of it like plamt puberty...can a 6 year old boy get a girl pregnant? Same with weed; they gotta be mature first....just sayin bro....

    Yea just read about in the end i ld most likely do 14/10 for a month and 12/12 for flower cut to 10/14 late flower. The 12/12 thing would be an experiment if I get good at it. I am always about experimenting.

    Naw I feel you on tha experiment tip, I just didnt wanna see you get upset over a sure fail thing..but if youre ok with it then cool....let me know how it turn out is all im saying..more power to ya homie...

    That's something I wouldn't do right away anyway I would want some indoor grows under my.belt 1st. I would probably only do it with a couple plants also. Like if i got to the point i could build a small grow box for experimentation.

    Hey, it caint hurt to try right? Stay curious,stay experimenting,and who knows, you might just discover the greates thing since sliced bread!Lol....But most of all,stay high my friend...

    You can do 12/12 from seed. Its been done... many of times :D

    Yea that's what I read helps keep em small which is what my goal would be. If I did it I would then clone some and have a continuous grow.

    I tried that way to cold in Mass and not enough light. If I did again I would have to have heater in room. Then put em in window facing east in morn and window facing west before sunset. Be a lot of work and electricity for heat. Sucks gets down to the teens in winter. Short days and cloudy a lot

    Also update plants are getting tall except 2 runts. Topped em all today to keep em shorter as I do except to have to bring em inside mid to late October. Will post update pics at end of week. Big girl looks great nice cluster of pistols at the top of each cola and so stinky :)
