Whats up everyone, since life kicked me in the face and what not, I have been down for a while, but I've started gathering all new equipment for my new 3 patient card grow! 3000w hps and co2!

    The area:
    18'Wx28Lx8'H approx 500sq ft room
3 sections walled off, flower, veg and storage/work room
    Flower room will be 18'x11'x8'
    Veg room will be18'x8.5'x8'
    Storage/work room 18'x8.5'x8'

    Equpiment:
    5x 600w Phantom Ballasts
5x Eye Hortilux super HPS bulbs
5x Radiant 8" air cooled hood
    20lb co2 Tank w/ distribution system
    2x 4'x4 bulb t5's for veg
Various fans and a big fuckin carbon filter

Anyway I've already got a full 600w setup ordered, I'm going to order all the fans and filter next so I can at least get one full setup going and then hopefully mid next month have at least 1800w's going.

    Stay tuned. :smoke:

  2. Whats up everyone, we got the 2nd tent yesterday, and the HPS, fan and filter setup today. This fucking thing is a MONSTER! I had no idea that they were that large. Only thing is that the ceramic around the bulb area was cracked a bit and a small bit broke off, I contacted the vendor online and they quickly apologized and said a new cool tube and socket are on its way to me tomorrow morning! They also said I can keep the slightly damaged one!! That just cut the cost of our photo tent down signifigantly, I'll just pickup a 600w ballast from amazon for like $100 and build a custom reflector hood that wont cost me anything and BAM 2 HPS's for super cheap. Sweet deal right?

Anyway I'll shut up and get to the pics!

Testfitting, this light hood is fucking huge! It takes up the entire width of the tent and a little bit of a buldge lol, same with the CF, things giant compared to our 4" setup

This ducting was TIGHT! We had to fight it on, which I guess is a good thing right lol?
Monster fan! Thought it would be loud, but our AC is actually louder than both of our fans combined lol..
The three autos in their new home, I'm hoping that I can get a substantial yield (for autoflowers anyway) by giving them a ton of room.

We're currently running the ballast at 75% and so far so good, the fan is keeping the light very cool, I can still touch the cool tube with my hand after about an hour and a half of it running! We are about 13" away from the top of the tallest seedling and a clip fan blowing across them, we're going to add 1 or possibly 2 more of them to ensure proper airflow. At 75% the tent is staying a consistant 77.3-77.7* and 51% humidity

  3. So today since we have everything going full bore we have been giving a lot of attention to each tent, checking NPK levels of all 3 photos and PH of all 6 plants, monitoring temp and humidity and checking for possible heat issues.

The HPS tent is holding steady at 79.9* right now, it hasn't broke higher than 80.5* so far, we have our AC going all day and night since it's been so hot here lately and even keeping our apt cool before the lights and grow has been difficult, thankfully our electricity company rocks and they dont charge us out the ass! The HPS if I calculated right, at 18hrs a day on should only cost us $11 a month difference! Jack pot right?

NPK levels of all 3 photos showed perfect N, low P, and perfect K so we're happy with that. There has been some heat stress to the god bud but she is still hauling ass along with the grapefruit. PH is perfect showing approx 6.8 based on our test kit for all the plants. :)

We moved the 6 CFL bulbs into the photo tent and pulled the small hood to use for the germ tent since it doesn't need that kind of power for germination. We aren't expecting a huge yield from these 3 photos since the CFL's are unfortunately well underpowered for any yields, I figure if we can pull an ounce and a half total from all of them that would be good personal smoke, while we're pulling for a good bit from the autos. We're going to germinate one more auto since the timing of harvesting the photos to the autos beginning flower we are still within our legal limit! I believe the 600w MH/HPS will easily cover the 6 plants especially autos. We may even supplement CFL's into the grow at some point since we have a few extras.

anyway the fun part! I found the beginnings of calyx development on the god plant and the grapefruit looks like shes showing the slightest sign of them, so we are going to veg them all for 1 more week or until our clone bucket supplies show up and I can take cuts of them. Then we will be flipping to 12/12! Can't wait to see what this experiment turns into.

We're going to try to get another 600w ballast since the company is sending me a new cool tube since ours has slight damage and they are letting us keep the current one!

I will post some updated pics of the photos shortly.

    thanks for looking!

  4. Got our exhaust ducting finally ran out of the house, Had to get creative since we only have one wall port, so we T'd and baffled our AC unit and exhaust tubing into it and it's working great, temps are dropping extremely well and our place is already way cooler! No more venting hot HPS air into the house lol. I'm not 100% happy with it, so it'll probably get changed hah.

I have to retrain the grapefruit and god bud today and get them ready for flowering next week, and the Auto's are on 3rd leaf set already! They are loving the MH light running 20/4 right now.

I'll take some pics of everything later tonight when I'm done working on them all! going to enjoy some bomb ass peaches and cream bud and take some royal purple kush dabs before I get working!

  5. Here are some shots of the 3 auto's while I work on the other 3 plants!

Those were taking earlier today, they are already bigger than that lol. We're battling super heat right now since it was 90* today and we had the AC unhooked for about 45 mins while working on ducting lol. But it's back down to 80* in both tents with 51% humidity so we're gonna run the AC for a while longer and get them into the mid 70's and then turn the AC off and see how it goes since the Big tent is now pulling a ton of air out of the tent/room and pushing it outside!

Found a fucking mite today crawling on the cinex, quickly snagged our mite spray and soaked the tops and bottoms of all 3 plants to kill those little fuckers. The stuff we have isn't the best, so tomorrow we're going to pickup some FF pest spray and give them another quick bath to kill these fuckers.

However, the grapefruit and god bud are showing their pistils! By the time the stuff for our clone bucket shows up they will be ready to flip right after I make some clones!

We should also be picking up a headband clone later this week when it is read, which is supposedly a true headband, uncrossed plant so I'm excited to grow that for our next photo, I love headband and am definitely excited to grow some!

The autoflowers are growing at a crazy pace, but the temps just aren't where I want them... Going to pickup a 90* duct adapter and a Y splitter and redo the ducting out the wall. The T just gets too much backdraft into the fan's ducting and isn't allowing it to cool to it's full power.

    Grapefruit doing amazingly well!

Cinex picking up, wont be put into flower with the other 2, clones cut most likely and restarted properly.

Guys need some quick nute deficiency or lockout help! 2 of the lowest (oldest) leaves on our god bud plant have some nasty brown spots in the center, I recently gave the plants 1/3 gal water with 1 TSP of epsom salt for a CaMg boost and I think I might have burned this poor girl...

No other plants are showing this symptom, I have also noticed that this strain is very very sensitive to heat, and the tips have some stress on them... So it wouldn't surprise me if I shocked the shit out of her.

Pics of the two leaves and spots. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency, but the soil has high N content and it has had feedings with Big Bloom and Grow big at 1/4 strength. They are currently 2 days without water, we are going to flip them to 12/12 mid next week so I'm letting them dry out realllly good, then giving them a good heavy watering with the first mix of flower nutes!

Thanks! I just finished testing NPK and Ph of the god plants soil, showed high N, moderate P, and Adequate K... it's very nitrogen rich and the Ph tests at 6.89 via my new digital Ph meter, Not sure whats up with that plant..

and we decided to go auto's to a faster harvest, we're going to be working with the dispensaries and need to get a quick harvest to help recoup some equipment expenses and the like. We've spent a fair bit, so as long as we can pull a half pound of total bud and it comes out good we'll be set, and we will also have another patient who we will be growing for in the next 2 weeks which will up us to 12 legal plants in flower so that will be very fun lol.

One tent will be always autos, and the other photos. We're getting a second cool tube for free and they are giving us the slight damaged one since it is useable, and then we will buy a ballast for another HPS setup, once that happens the photoperiod tent will be going full steam ahead and scrogged for max yields. Since winter is upon us, we may spring for a 1k Ballast since the winters here are on the colder side and heat wont be an issue. Right now we're battling 50% power on the 600 in here lol.

  10. ok seems fair im sure youve done your research.  I just always heard that it was better to take cuttings from a photo plant and send them right to 12/12 and you get a harvest in roughly the same time as the autos but with slightly better genetics and the ability to keep taking clones and saving money on seeds seeing as you cant clone autos.  i have one auto northern lights x big bud that ive been waiting to germ because i dont want to flower it under cfls and my hps stays at 12/12

  11. whereabouts you from?

  12. I personally wouldn't go straight to flower from cutting, out clones have been vegging for 36 days and they still aren't 100% ready. But we're going to build a clone bucket and then make clones and flip the lights and just see what the cfl's make. They are more of an experiment and the autos the main focus.

I don't mind buying seeds, we have like 19 more auto seeds lol. Like I said we spent a good bit.

And we're in the northwest, don't wanna say specifics. Just where it's legal :)

  13. no shame man, i moved to a legal state just for this reason lol.  Just throwing out what i heard, like i said im sure you did your research on what you want, there are many styles and methods to growing hence the autoflowers being created in the first place!  I was just wondering if you were close by chance because ive been dying to get my hands on some grapefruit.  I got one freebie grapefruit when i ordered seeds but it decided not to sprout on me.  Litterally only had that happen twice so far in all my grows Im like 16/18 all females (all seeds i bought were feminized but i took my chances with a couple seeds i found in some seeded dank.  It happend to be Phenominal  Let me see if i can find a pic.

Whats your favorite strain so far youve grown personally?

  14. This is the seeded stuff i found.  It turned out really fruity and quite potent but like my purple wreck it has a tendancy to Hermie so it takes some care snipping bannanas, but worth it if you pull it off. IMAG1447.jpg

this is my first legit grow so I have no personal growing experience so I'm not sure yet haha. That sucks on the seed, I've germed 6 seeds now and 100% success rate so far! I'm doing shot glass for 12-14hrs in a cupboard, then straight into soil and covered in syran wrap until they break soil, then I remove the syran wrap and just let them go, we just popped a royal haze photoperiod seed to turn into a bonsai experiment since it was free and it broke soil in 3 days from being dropped in.

that's a nice little nug! I'm excited to see our first flowers start forming. I'm also excited to pickup my true Headband clone this week!!!

  16. jealous about the headband.  i really want to put in a new order for seeds as mine are seemingly growing slower with age.  should have freezed them but you live you learn.  ive heard horror stories about getting clones from dispensaries so i like to make my own   just gotta figure out which plants i want to mother.   Currently Wembley is my favorite strain.  but i really want to see how the blue cheese and pinneapple do under my hps before i make that call.  if you ever get a chance pick up wembly   the growth is beautiful and steady.  had no hermies whatsoever and the smoke was great.  Its a cross between bubblegum and AK47

  17. I was super stoked to find that clone! Well worth the wait to get her.

Our 3 photos were from dispensaries and we had to reveg them since they had started to flower.. they bounced back great, the cinex is slow, but shes coming along, We'll take that one out of the tent and throw it in with the autos to keep vegging since the autos are on a 20/4, gonna get it a bit bigger, take like 2 cuts and then throw it back into the photo tent to flower when she is ready. We have a small little tent that we use for germ/harvest hanging purposes too.

I'll definitely look into that wembley strain! are seeds avaliable? we are trying to figure out what we want to do for next photo runs since I don't wanna just run the same shit over and over..

PM me where you are at (if your comfortable with it), if we're close I'm sure I could help you out with a grapefruit cutting if they survive, this will be our first shot at cloning!

ohhhhh that's beautiful!!! bookmarked! I like that it's a short plant! Thanks for the info!

Man these auto flowers are going nuts lol, I'm so excited to see the purple cheese in flower, looks beautiful!

  19. i feel like i got lucky with that strain.  There are very few people that have documented growing it.  I am assuming its partly due to the non descriptive name.  its not something ive even ever heard of but it will be a staple in my garden for years to come.  and i can vouch for the height and flowering time.  its definitely the fastest flowering plant i have gone through almost perfectly 8 weeks
