  5. I use a rice cooker, buds and coconut oil. Here's my recipe:

    1. Fill rice cooker with water. Set to "cook rice."
    2. Add about 2 cups (measuring cups) of Coconut Oil.
    3. Add weed. I usually go with about 1/8 of chopped bud. I don't put it in a tea bag or filter out the bud when it's finished or anything like that. It's just a plant, and I eat lots of fruits and vegetables anyway.
    4. Let it boil on "cook rice" setting for 1-2 hours, adding water as needed.
    5. Set it to "keep warm" for as long as you like (again, I go with 8 - 10 hours for a good cook).
    6. When you're done, let it cool. Then pour everything in a container and refrigerate. Some people separate the water from the solidified coconut-cannabis oil. Again, I don't bother to do this. Instead, I drink the water (this is basically the tea part); however, when I drink the water, I always drop in a small chunk of the coconut-cannabis oil - this gives it the "kick."

Be careful when using this recipe. It'll get you VERY fucked up if you're not careful. Remember, it's an edible, so usually takes 2 - 3 hours to kick in.

As for serving sizes, I find this formula is good to make enough tea to last me for 4 - 6 weeks of getting stoned every night. Just separate the solid oil into roughly equal servings. I usually drink a little bit (by breaking off a chunk of the solid coco-cannabis oil and adding a little of the weed water) every night. It definitely does the trick.

Also, on the first night of a new brew, I always drink it directly out of the cooker before refrigerating (and I usually have a large serving, you know, in celebration). The very first time I made this, I filled a coffee cup with the tea and was stoned for 24 hours. I literally woke up still stoned. It was nice.

Some people don't like the taste (though I find with coconut oil, the taste is quite mild). If you want to flavor it up, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla extract and almond extract all work nicely. Also, a drop of honey is great, too.

As for weed strains, I prefer Death Star (personal preference), but I've made it with all kinds - 818, Lemon OG, Strawberry Kush, Purple Haze, Heirloom Thai... whatever I have around.

My next cook will just use the trimmings. Not sure how potent this will be, but I'm going to find out. A lot of people just throw trimmings away anyway, so if I get anything out of it, it's a win-win.
