Hey guys, finishin up my Cotton candy from Delicious seeds and im pretty stoked about my medicine comin so nicely. this next grow im looking for a strain with more flavor than potency (although potency is a definit + ) i like fruity inhale type strains. Ive heard SOO much positive feedback from TGA i definately wanna pop a few beans this go. Ive narrowed my list down to primarily TGA strains but their are a few in their like Sincity since ive been dying to run their "thin mints' which i hear are the closest you get to the original cut. any marked with ** im leaning towards the most. The only TGA I've grown out is plushberry. All 3 pheno's were dank. Tried to grow space dawg but they were all males All of your choices look pretty good, I'd prob stay away from the Skywalker tho.
Ive heard great things about the plushberry. Lots of great things. How was the smell? Taste? High? On your 3? And why stay away from the skywalker?
x2 lemon haze was awesome. Real strong sweet start and a real peppery haze finish. Best high ever 12 week flowering 70/30 sativa strain wheww i get high just thinkin about it.
greenhouse seeds super lemon haze or just lemon haze? by who specifically guys? long flowering time ughhhh but if it gets more votes ill give it a go. by who? very broad dude
C-99 all day every day. Unreal Pineapple smell and taste, and amazing sativa high in a very easy to grow plant.
Flavor x high would definitely go to a haze, even though they are NOTORIOUS for having an insanely long flower period. It's Why I have yet to choose a haze. It's a VERY good choice to go with If your up to a challenge and are patient. My last grow produced a surprise in my purple paralysis... Lavender x power plant by cream of the crop ... Dank bud, intense, complex flavor consisting of lavender,sandalwood and something fruity. The high was incredible, when pulled early (mostly white triches ) it was pretty cerebral,bordering on psychedelic. When pulled at peak, (half white half amber ) it produced a SUPER narcotic high. No motivation whatsoever, No pain, No will to move. The head high is mellowed down, but it definitely is not wake and bake material. so ive heard. i keep leaning towards the longer flowering, sativa doms, but damn is it hard to wait so im trying to just chose 1 long flowering strain. tha purple sounds nice. whats the flower time on it?
Female seeds have the best version IMO. Grew two, both uniform other than one of them turning purple by the end and having a sour/citrus/grapefruit zest to it. C-99 is known to be stable, and is Female Seeds' flagship strain. Great reviews everywhere, and lotsof smoke reports too (I submitted one myself).
I am also a week from harvest with 2 Chocolope. I would definitely recommend so far, amazing melon-mocha smell to the buds which are very heavy for a sativa....also uniform and very easy to grow. I grow primarily for taste and smell and love a variety.....threads like this are great.
Female seeds huh? Chocolope is something ive been wanting to try. I hear DNA's is amazing. Do they really have a noticeable mocha smell? Some tell me they just smell "earthy"
I flowered for 65 days, sampled it, liked it but knew it could go further , continued flower to 75, cut it, layed a 13 day cure on it,and it was perfect. Left some bud on the bottom for reveg, which it did beautiful ly. I'll post a pic of it If you want. I can't wait for more to crop, sadly it was the hottest seller in brinnon for about 3 days. Plush berry was dank, I'd suggest giving it a try sometime. Great flavors (musty grape from the bcs phenos, mango flav from the space queens), and some good colors on the bcs phenos. Tastes the same as smells. High was mellow, bcs was a bit more indica dom, space queen a bit more sativa. I got 1 bcs pheno, one sq, and one that was kinda in between. I kept the bcs, kinda wish I kept the sq as well..dank stuff no doubt. Thought I heard some bad stuff about RP's Skywalker..but I have read so damn much about seeds I could be mixed up. It's been a while since I've been paying attention tbh. I made a thread a while ago with them, feel free to look it up if you care.
If you liked cotton candy, you would love any haze. Cotton candy has a very sativa like high. I personally prefer a 100% sativa over anything else just because the high is so far out there and amazing. Hybrids have their purpose too and sometimes they are really good too, like cotton candy and super lemon haze (both about 70/30 sat./ind.) I've found that if i have an indica based strain, I will smoke alot more because I get so sleepy, and smoking keeps me awake lol As far as hazes go, there are tons of good strains. I personally recommend Greenhouse Seed Co. I have had 100% germ rate out of 20 or so seeds. The plants are exactly what they say they are, it was almost eerie watching videos of them growing super lemon haze, and it almost seemed like there was only one pheno for that plant, wierd. Anyways, they have plenty of cup winners. Super silver haze is the mother of slh. They have 3 "arjan's haze" which all have great lineages and strawberry haze. Dont get me wrong, there are other good hazes but I just like GHS's selection the most. ALOT of landrace strains involved with the breeding, these guys go all over the world. Youtube Greenhouse seed co. They also do week by week grow videos of all their strains on youtube so you should check those out. They are pro's man and they win 1st overall in the cannabis cup alot. yeaaaa pics. does it purple easily without cool temps or do you need them? very glad to hear that. i like hearing about strains with great smell that taste the same ill look it up dude. what did you title it? hows the smell on chemdawg?never had that strain or know much about it. thats a haze ive seen alot about. ive read the lemon smell is amaizng and the wait for it to finish flowering is well worth it. they have strawberry haze?nvm just saw it on the tude. have you grown the strawberry? ive wanted a good strawberry cough for anxiety but have heard kyle's is the best and its been lost...didnt know they had weekly growth vids, thanks for the info! im hoping a better smell comes from my Cotton candy because so far its pretty odorless
