  1. So a friend of mine just got a tattoo on his right chest(lettering) from a gangster who was high on meth, while he did my friends tattoos and 3 other ppl....my friend really wants me to get a tat, I want one a good amount im just not THAT eager. I dont want to rush it and get some retarded shit but question is should I just go with that guy? My friends tat didnt turn out bad its just sketchy overall.

  2. If you have any doubt about any aspect of the tattoo dont do it.

Reading your post I think you should get a artist with a non-meth hand. Get one that blows your friends out of the water from a proper artist.

  3. I think something that will be on your body forever is worth the couple extra bucks for it to be done in a proper safe, professional setting with a real artist, and not some junkie trying to get some extra $$ for his next fix

  4. Definitely wait and find a reliable tattoo artist. Talk with them a bit, get to know them on a slightly more personal level than just some person drawing on you. Not only will you have a better chance at getting a good tattoo, you might get a few good laughs and/or stories to go with it.

  5. Forreal I want to see what a meth head tattoo artist has in their arsenal of fonts

  6. go watch the meth head before getting one, at the very least

  7. Yeah thats sketchy... i wouldn't let a meth head touch me if he was doing it for free. and if he fucks up how will you handle that? Try talking business with a meth head who already put a permanent mark on you. You can find plenty of people to do tats that arent losers. hell even try craigslist and look for people starting out and ask to see previous tats they've done. Just look for basic things like line boldness, color etc. Chances are most people start with themselves tattoo wise. But seriously you're getting a tat for the wrong reasons don't do it, wait till you have the design you're happy with and can live with dont let a meth head tattoo you just dont.

Plus you never know if the meth head thinks he's the greatest but you dont like it... they arent easy people to talk to... I've dealt with my fair share, you can turn your back on a person but never on a drug.

  8. I say dont do it! First off, meth! Are you serious! Second, if for any reason you feel even the littlest bit unsure why would you do it? And third, coming from someone with BAD tattoos I would say that you really need to make sure you pick a good artist. Do some research online and see what really good quality tattoos look like first then I say go to a shop and watch an artist (not just look at his portfolio because they could be someones elses tattoos not his). Then if you feel comfortable get one. I also suggest having one drawn up by either the artist or someone else, not picking one off the wall! Its so funny to walk through walmart and see 2-3 people with the same tattoos!

  9. NO! Do you want Hepatitis?

  10. I mean, that would be a pretty good story man

  11. I hope but doubt this dude is using a fresh needle for every 'customer' of his. Sounds like a big infection risk.

Tattoos are there forever, they aren't something to get with any doubts. Since you have plenty of them in this situation (as you should), you're really better off planning more, and finding a more trustworthy artist. Trust me, tattoos aren't a good thing to get on impulse. Don't let your friend rope you into a dumb decision along with him.

  12. He won't be legit at all, you want someone working on your body not to be a drug addict.

  13. No.

I mean, it's your call to do with your body what you want. But tattoos should be treated as a professional form of artwork IMO. When you know what you want, you should look around for local artists and find someone who's style fits the piece you're looking to get. There's no point in rushing to get a tattoo either. I waited two years to get my first tattoo (after knowing what I wanted), and I've been sitting on another idea for the last three years--granted, that's mostly because I don't have the cash saved up.

  14. i def wouldn't. wouldn't even fathom the idea jm$.02

  15. I'm a little appalled that you even feel the need to ask something like this.

How many red flags can you see?  Meth Head, check.  Clear indication of peer pressure, check.  You're not even comfortable fully committing to something as permanent as a tattoo, check.

  16. I've always been a spur of the moment person and have had some tattoos that way but I would really think about it first and if you're having any reservations atball wait it out and find somebody who isn't off their heads and who you feel comfortable with. You have time :)

  17. I wouldnt go anywhere near a meth head let alone a meth head with a needle!

  18. Think of it this way would u want something that has sketchy line work on ur body for the rest of ur life..? I kmow i wouldnt... Also u will know when ur teady to get a tatty because u will have yhought of what u want to get done for a while n ur thoughts on it will always be yes thats awesome gotta get something yhat u really like or has meaning to u. Its worth it to spend some cash to get ur work done by someone whos an amazing artist. U want someyhing to be proud of and want to show off because its smooth n looks good. U dont eana show off a tatty thats all sletchy n shit its nothing to be proud of.
But ur choice i know personally i found this artist that does all my work because hes fucking amazing and gives me art that i like to show off.
