hey guys its coming close to the anniversary of my oldest bong that iv had for almost 8 years now. me and my mom were in B.C canada chillin on the lakes for vacation when i was 16, at this point my mom knows and accepts my stonerizm. so we go shopping in town and wonder into a headshop. we were walkin around cheakin stuff out and then i see this cabinet all lit up with one crystal clear bong in it with the lable "thickest glass in the store". need say i fell in love, and at this point i didnt have a nice bong or even ever smoked from one, i just had this one 30$ dollar store bong with the slider/rubber seal and befor that all my homemade water bottle contraptions lol. so it was really close to my bithday, and my mom liked the way it look too, so she agreed to make it an early b-day gift. i was pumped. she(the bong) was 220$. so yee iv taken good care of her, had like 5 close calls, some broken downstems and ashcatchers. but she.....she has survived and treated me well
My oldest bong is this one Just a cheap china piece i paid $100 for back about 8-9 years ago from a headshop. I never use it anymore and the downstem is stuck lol.
hahah yeaaa, i know what a stuck downstem is like, my oldest bong too had a stuck downstem, faught with it for like 5 hours till i finally got it out. then i started wraping a thin layer of tissue paper around the downstem joint kinda like an anti-stick condom lol. but i think thats how i got the perminent rez stain on the female joint . but hey you cant own a piece of glass for this long and not have something go wrong lol and noticed you got like the exact same double bubble shape as mine. the tree perc in your is also soo thick and bulky lol, its cool seeing what we use to be sooo pumped for back in the day
