Hash Oil Absorbed by Bread, or anything really

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by mattthehippo, Jul 12, 2013.

  1. Hey so i barely post here but i had a question because my brother's friend always makes hash oil, by soaking about 2 grams of bud in vodka for about a week or two, and then putting them in 3 separate containers into a bin of hot water for I think a day or 12 hours, I'm not completely sure. But I know that when he puts it in the water, (after he takes the nugs of weed out btw and throws them out), that he is really just evaporating the alcohol so all that is left is the THC, that does not evaporate at such low temperatures. I was just curious as to see of you could put anything into the mixture of the alcohol-THC before putting it in the water to evaporate the alcohol so that the THC would stay with whatever you put in it. For example, bread. If you soaked a slice of bread and let it absorb all of the THC-full vodka, and then put the bread in the container in the hot water, would the alcohol still evaporate but leave the THC in the bread? So after doing that, i would have a normal slice of bread, eat it, maybe make a sandwich or something, and then get high? Or would this just not work. Also, if it would work, what other food would do this?
