Chunky glass pipes? or other online head shops vs this one

    I've read some reviews that weren't so hot about Chunky Glass Pipes but these were back in like 2009 so I want to know how they currently are. I'm pretty broke and what I want doesn't have to be the highest quality just something decent and cheap. This site is pretty expensive and word is that it takes about 8 weeks to arrive which is way too long so I'm looking for something else. Any other options? or reviews about Chunky?

    My friend and I have both ordered from that site. He had great luck, we all pitched in and bought a decent bong. It's actually mine now, pics of it on one of my first threads. Took a few weeks to ship, but overall was a good deal.My story however was not pleasant. I ordered a pipe off the site about a year later and it never came in the mail. I tried to email them and never got a response back. Never really followed up on it, it was a cheap pipe, but they lost my repeat business. So from my experience its 50/50. But last time I checked the site they haven't changed a thing since we first bought that bong years ago. Seems kind of iffy to me. I would recommend the shop here on GC, grasscity, or hell, even Amazon. Never tried any of them, but they seem to be reliable and have decent reviews. Though in the end, nothing beats the experience of going to a real headshop and picking something out yourself!Lights. Cameras. Inhale.

    Thanks a bunch! With a mixed review like that I'm not going to take the chance. Hopefully I can smooth talk my way in a head shop and knock the price down a bit  :p

    No problem! I'll never forget he first time I visited a headshop! Got my favorite pipe there. Things run a tad bit expensive but the guys who make them bust their butts and don't make a ton of profit, unless youre talking about big ticket bongs.
    Heck I'm visiting a medical state and there seem to be quite a bit of stores that aren't necessarily a headshop but still sell nice pipes. Check out some privately owned hopped stores in the area. Usually have a shelf of pipes.

    I've been to plenty of head shops in my lifetime but a lot of them overcharge unfortunately. Thankfully there are a ton in my area so I should be able to work something out  :smoke:

    odd, same thing happened to me. Except I ordered the bubbler and my friend ordered a cheap glass piece. Mine came his didn't
