Phantom Vaporizer Review

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Pkrangerown, Jun 27, 2013.

  1. First off let me say I am writing this review because of the lack of reviews I found for this device online. I currently own a MFLB, Vapir One, The Budda, DaVinci, and a Phantom vaporizer.

The Phantom vaporizer is a Chinese knock off of the Volcano vaporizer, which ranges from 100-250$. I picked mine up from a local headshop for 150$ which included tax. I went straight home and packed a bowl ( this vape has a fairly large pack about a .7) and let me say that the digital display for the heat is a load of horse crap because it doesn't actually display the temperature, it simply goes up 10 degrees about every 5 seconds and if you try to use this vape when it's done "heating" up you'll did that it will produce very little vapor and that is because its not actually heated up... you have to let the unit stay on for about 5-10 extra minutes before it actually is at that temperature. When the vape is fully heated up though it performs EXCELLENT and fills bags up to clouds ( 380 is the best temperature to use ). I have noticed no metallic/ chemical/ plastic taste as many people who do not own this product claim it will taste like just because its made is China ( I eat using forks from China they don't make my food taste like metal I'm tired of reading people claiming this vaporizer is toxic etc. when they have no clue and have not even used one ). One other problem I have had with this vape is I blown 2 fuses in 2 days, I switched the outlet I'm using and it hasn't happened again so it could of just been my outlet. All in all this vape scores a 7/10 with me and is my second favorite vaporizer right behind my Vapir one which I only like better because it heats up almost instantly and produces thick vapor in seconds, but for 1/4th the price of a real volcano you can't go wrong with the Phantom.

Instead of making a false claim please back up your claim with an atricle or something? Oh wait you can't? Ill take my chances after taking this unit apart and seeing that the air pathway comes in contact with nothing that will release toxins... And the taste of the vapor is clearly as good as any other vape I've used, no toxic taste here. So how about you have fun sucking it

So let's see.   You have the Buddha, but you like both the Vapir One and the Phantom better?

    Wow.................

WIth over 7000 posts here and over 7700 hundred posts at the FC site after spending over 3 years at both with very heavy reading from owners who own multiple vapes, I have to tell you that you are the very first to ever say something like this, and as such, to whomever may be reading this, please take the opinion of Pkrangerown with a very small grain of salt, as I know of no one who shares it.

  5. The Buddha vaporizer for 180$ is a whip style vape that produces very little vapor compared to a vapir one (100$) and any of the slightest movement will cause your herb to fall onto the heating element causing it to combust, rending your herb wasted, not to mention the anoyying knob style temperature control that is EXTREMELY annoying to get it to he right temperature without burning your herbs and ONTOP of that the glass whip always falls out of the unit because of the loose ass glass on glass connection... Hm ill have to say the vapir one is a far superior product for half the price and the significantly better vapor production

  7. Also with the Buddha if you so happen to cough while drawing out of the whip ( which happens often with me as I only use chronic ) all your herb will get blasted into the heating chamber once again causing it to combust, none of these problems with the Vapir One or the Phantom vaporizer...

The Buddha vape is considered one of the hardest hitting vapes on the market.

There is something dramatically wrong here.     Either you never learned how to use it properly, or..........you are a troll that is just making all this stuff up.

I'd prefer to think the former being that you said that, "anoyying knob style temperature control that is EXTREMELY annoying to get it to he right temperature without burning your herbs".     As with most vapes, draw speed and temp settings are interactive and you need to adjust your draw speed to your temp setting, or visa versa.

Your statement that the Vapir One is a far superior product to the Buddha is totally false and I will again state that you are the ONLY person to have ever said such a thing, and as such, your posts hear are in serious question as to their validity.

The Vapir One has been considered for a very long time as being one of the worst vapes on the market due to major leaking issues whereas the Buddha is considered one of the best vapes on the market.

Considering that you are a brand new poster who is making these outrageous claims, you may in fact, just be making all this stuff up.

To ANYONE else reading this and considering making a vape purchase, PLEASE do your research.   One of the absolute best places to find out about vapes is a place called fuckcombustion.com.   Pay a visit there and do some reading, but PLEASE don't put ANY credance into what Pkangerown is stating above as to the Vapir One being a better vape than the Buddha.    That's like saying that a Yugo is better than a Ferrari.

I have been smoking and vaping "chronic" longer than you've been alive and I have NEVER coughed into the whip.    If you fell a cough coming on, pull the effin' whip away from your mouth.   WTF ?????

I'm done with this.    This is tantamount to saying, using the Ferrari analogy again, to someone stating that a Yugo is a better car being that you don't have to worry about missing a shift.

    Insane...........

  9. Number one I am not a troll and will happily post pictures of all my vapes ( if you so desire ) my opinion of the Buddha is it is only good for putting the whip into a bong or something to milk it with vape, the vapir one doesn't leak for me I use it without the whip or bag and put my mouth directly over the hole and I don't need to worry about draw speed or such as it simply blastes vape at you, you have your own opinion and I have mine I have no issue admitting I cough off good stuff as any one would, you obviously aren't smoking good chronic if you don't cough or maybe because your using a vape that doesn't produce much vapor..

    LOL !!!   Now I'm done......

  11. Your an idiot, it's a proven fact that thc causes you to cough ESPECIALLY when using a vaporizer as it creates DRY vapor so I'm glad your done responding to my thread as I don't need people posting non-sense because they have to think they are know it alls when it reality your just mad you have in efficient equipment and take out your rage by trolling on a post that you've probally never even used the vaporizers your talking shit about
