Hey guys just got a pc case and am running 3 led grow lights I'm trying to grow cannatonic and northern lights I have grown the plants for a bit outside while I was putting the case together. Now I'm doing a soil grow my questions are this: I have a light timer how long do I set it for How much to water and when should I fertilize and how to look after the soil properly What will be better LST or topping to keep plants short. The reason I'm doing a pc case grow is space is a premium and I live with parents who know I grow but I have nosy relatives and young kids that we watch so the pc case idea was best for me.
what size case to u have? micro - mid - full? I've never personally grown in a pc case, but ive heard of people growing in only a solo cup, and flowering shortly after first set of leaves. Almost from the start, they set lights to 12/12. As for your light timing, you dont need to use your timer, until you switch it to flowering. Just plug your light in and keep it on all the time.
ok thanks also forgot to ask where should i place might lights as there on magnets. Do I put all 3 at the top or can i stick them on the sides and then just move them up with the plant as they grow

I'm guessing with a PC case you'll be doing a scrog grow

I'm using CFL and haven't read up on LED, so I can't help there, but as far as how to grow in the case, I've read that most people to a combination of techniques - FIM and LST or FIM and SCROG together. I would love to see pics of your rig and your progress (ok .. I might want to steal some of your ideas to make mine better). Here's mine - all comments welcome!
Just so you know it makes our job a lot easier with pictures, just so we can see how close you have your lights and where you have your fans at so we can notice any potential problems.

I've take a bunch of pics since last week and will post them soon. I've just added a 43W 2700K to the mix .. so now I have 2 x 43W 6500K and 1 x 43W 2700K ... I'm hoping the girls will take notice!!

Yeah those LED'S are a trip to look at especially when I'm medicated haha So should I keep them on the sides like that or move them to the top
I would have no idea myself as I'm a cfl man myself. But, my guess is the way you got them would be best due to as the plant grows it would provide light to the lower leaves as well as the top I could be wrong and please someone correct me if I am but I think you'll be ok
