Welcome to my second grow journal. With my first grow contained within my flowering tent, I felt it was time to start a journal for my newest grow.

After my first shipment was intercepted by customs, a second shipment was sent out and made it through after an 11 day wait, including a single weekend. So at least for me, Attitude honored its guarantee. I will give the Single Seed Centre a try for my next order for some strains to compare service. Always good to have more than one place to go to.

The Critical 47 is a clone I cut from my first grow 8 days before I harvested. After nearly two weeks, both clones appear to be recovering and I should see new growth by Monday.

The Red Cherry Berry seed was planted late on the 5th and sprouted early on the 10th. I will post pictures once attachments are fixed with the updated board software.

I've planted one of each of the Bay 11 and Candyland, reserving one of each in case I get males. Since it is feminized, I've only planted one Atomic Bomb seed, as well as one single feminized LA Chocolat.

I'm going to be getting a second Pro Grow 180 for my flowering tent and switching the 260 into the veg tent, so I will be able to support ~6 plants.

I plant to keep this grow going as long as possible, as now that I have a steady supply of good quality smoke, I don't want to go back to relying on other people for my medicine.

Here's a quick overview of my equipment:

Veg Tent – Gorilla Grow Tent 2'x2.5'
Veg Tent Light – Pro Grow 180

Flower Tent – Gorilla Grow Tent 2.5X4'
Flower Tent Light – Pro Grow 260
    Small fan for air flow

Odor Control – Flower Tent 4"inline fan connected to charcoal air filter as well as muffler on output which is then directed into the veg tent to provide air flow.

1 qt. tub of Ona Pro Gel provides odor control for area both tents are in.

    Soil – FFOF

    Nutrients – FF Grow Big/Big Bloom/Tiger Bloom & Open Sesame/Beastie Bloomz/Cha Ching

Feel free to follow along once that feature is working again

  2. Subbin.. cant wait to see those atomics.. i am lovin the cluster bomb, berry bomb not so much.. got a thc bomb, but gotta wait for an opening to throw her in.. that could be quite a while...

    balls deep in the MJ...

  3. :confused_2:  Am I in the right place now  :D  :bongin:

  4.
What do you like in the cluster bomb as compared to the berry bomb?

Red Cherry Berry at 14 days old. This next week is when it will begin to take off.

The Bay 11 seedling. This is its second day above ground and it's beginning to get color back, as it was a little pale upon opening.

The Candyland is almost above the surface, and should be finished sprouting by late tonight.

The Atomic Bomb and LA Chocolat have yet to sprout, but because of the considerably cooler temperatures of the last week, I'm not surprised they're taking longer. The average lights on temperature in my veg tent has gone from the low 80's, to the the low 70's. I've since closed the door to the room the tent are in and the temps are now hovering in the high 70's.

    More pictures as things develop.

A fuzzy picture of the newly sprouted Candyland.

Atomic Bomb and LA Chocolat are beginning to push up their plugs, so hopefully they'll be above ground by sometime tomorrow.

  7. LA Chocolat has sprouted and unfurled its leaves. Pictures later on.

Still waiting on Atomic Bomb. If it takes more than a few days longer, I will plant another just in case.

  8. After checking on the Atomic Bomb seed, I could see that it was real deep in the rapid rooter, whose hole below the planting hole was way too big. I carefully took the split seed out and put it in a slit that I cut to the side of the pre-made hole.

Just to hedge my bet, I planted a second Atomic Bomb seed  about an hour ago. That's the good thing about getting a 5-pack of these - I still have three to play with.

  9. IMG_3471-small.JPG
The two Atomic Bombs on the left have yet to sprout. Going from the top left of the remaining plants, we have Candyland at 3 days, Bay 11 at 4 days, Red Cherry Berry at 17 days, and LA Chocolat at 2 days.

  10. Neither Atomic Bomb has sprouted yet and I am loath to plant yet another seed. I'm giving the seeds another 10 days to do something, then the containers will be used for Red Cherry Berry clones. I'll end up trying again later when the Critical 47 clones recover from re-veg and start growing again.

All the other plants are doing really nice. The Red Cherry Berry plant is three weeks old today and the roots are just beginning to poke out of the bottom of the container. I'm going to wait until Sunday or Monday to transplant it to the 1 gallon pot.

I'm really curious to see how each of these plants develops as they cut older.

    Pictures tomorrow.

  11. Hmmm that sucks about the Atomic.

  12. Indeed it does, but I will try again later on, except that I will germinate them instead. I figure I can't do worse than what I've already gotten.

Aside from the two Atomic Bombs not sprouting, I haven't had any problems before, so I will treat it as a fluke thing.

I'm still iffy on whether the two Critical 47 clones will make it. They're not dying, but after over a month, there's been no change. I'm patient though, so if it takes another month, then so be it.

I'm seriously considering planting one of my freebies. Most likely the Cali Connection Sour Diesel.

I have some bills to take care of, so it'll be at least another month before I can get another LED. No worries though as I only have 4 plants to replace the 4 THC bombs once they're harvested, so it works out.

  13. IMG_3512-small.JPG
Red Cherry Berry is 27 days, Bay 11 is 14 days, Candyland is 13 days, and LA Chocolat is 12 days.

No action from the Atomic Bombs, so those two rapid rooters will be used for my first two clones, which will be The Red Cherry Berry and Bay 11 (two weeks from when I clone the The Red Cherry Berry).

The two Critical 47 clone attempts are both just there. Can't tell if anything is happening, but they each have a space off to the side of the 4 main plants.

  14. Did anything happen with the Atomics?  Have you tried any others?

  15. I'm sticking with the four I have going, along with the Critical 47 that I am re-vegging to avoid having to buy more. I had some bills come up this month, so I was unable to buy the second Pro Grow 180 and will have to wait another month or so before I do. Having four solid strains is perfect until I upgrade, then I'll likely try another Atomic along with either the CAC Sour D, or an Aurora Indica that I was looking at from the single seed centre.

    L - R Clockwise - Candyland 24 days, Bay 11 25 days, Red Cherry Berry 38 days, LA Chocolat 23 days.

The Critical 47 clone is still under a plastic bag as it still hasn't revegged and I need to keep the humidity up otherwise it will dry up.

With the weather being quite hot, I decided to try a third Atomic Bomb seed in the hopes that it will respond to the increased temperatures.

Getting ready to transplant the Red Cherry Berry into the flowering tent. I topped it a little less than a week ago and took a cutting for a clone two days ago.

Getting ready to top the LA Chocolat and take a cutting for a clone as well.

Both the Bay 11 and Candyland look nice, although I've spotted what might be balls on the Candyland. I'll be placing both plants in the flowering tent a few days after I top them. I'll grab clones if they're girls.

  18. Chopped down the Candyland today as it was a male. I was seeing what looked like balls the other day, but decided to give it another 48 hours. Even more balls, and it was looking much smaller than the other plants with no branching out like the other 3 plants are.

Fortunately, the Bay 11 looks just like the two feminized strains in the tent.

Will be transplanting the Red Cherry Berry today, and will be planting another Candyland.

Getting ready to clone the LA Chocolat and Bay 11 girls tomorrow.

    Pictures in a few days.

  19. Great thread man, Im hooked. Im really excited to see what happens with that red cherry berry, she looks very healthy and beautiful. I cant wait to see what a nice dry and cure does to those nugs when they are ready!

  20. Thanks for the feedback!
