INTJ, Anyone?

Discussion in 'Pandora's Box' started by Xenzin, May 12, 2013.

  1. Inspired by INTP, anyone? thread. It appears INTP's only conform 2-5% of the world whilst the INTJ is as equally elusive.

Here is the site where the other personality types are:
    TypeLogic Home Page
    Tests.
    TypeLogic: Related Websites

  2. INTJ

    Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging

  3. I'm INTX which is a mix of both.

  4. It's either judging or percieving. I only have a slight preference of judging over percieving (22% according to the Jung Test).

    Wikipedia.

  5. It made sense to me I read both descriptions and pieces of each fit me.

  6. I've taken this test like three times in the last few years; always INTJ

  7. Right here.

    I'm mostly thinking and judgement.

  8. INTJ

...sometimes I wish there were more of us.

  9.
In the thread that had the test a ridiculous number of people voted intj intp on the poll.

Yes! I always say this because in our nature, we are distant and alienated from the rest because they don't understand how the NT's mind operate.

I have 70% Introversion, Extroversion is 30% so I'm a little bit of an ambivert so I don't struggle in social situations where I need to verbalize such as first impressions with females, job interviews, interpersonal conversations, etc... My Intuition is 70% so most of my words constitute of abstract words, metaphors, allusions, observation and analyzing of surveying information around me and also my environment and looking at it at a three-dimensional theoretical perspective but I only save this for my "N" family because the sensors don't understand a single clue about theory unless their Intuition is mildly developed which is their auxiliary or tertiary function.

My Thinking (Te) is slight lower (60%) than my Intuition which has to deal with make thinking based judgement, incorporates data and facts. Here's a more descriptive post.

I have a feeling that INT's that have a highly developed Te or Ti seemed to do well in left brain characteristics fields such chemistry, physics, advanced mathematics while INT's who are right brained will do highly well with philosophy or anything subject that deals with using your intuitive juices. I'm trying to figure out how can I increase my T since I suck at math lol.

My (Fi) is about 25-30% so this makes me a warm hearted thinker because I have a high EQ so I use empathy, sometimes sympathy if it's related to the death of a love one or related event, understanding, listener, maturity, wisdom, using and managing my emotions in separate places so that I use them appropriately instead of out of place.

My Judgement is low as shit but I do use it to structure the things I want to structure and I need to increase my planning skills. I have Perceived tendencies as well: I'm sometimes lazy, procrastinator, open minded, staying open and responsive to new information, being casual, etc.

Last but not least: My sensing side is developed quite well (30%) this is what we INTJ's use.

Here's a detailed post on Si (Introverted Sensing vs Extroverted Sensing) Se

On our allies? Our allies seem to be naturally other IN's if they developed their functions, we do quite well with ENFP's & ENTP's. I'll find the reasons why they seem to tie together.

  11. No, sorry, I am almost a dead split between introvert and extrovert. But for the most part, I am INFP.

i take it back the jung test said i was INFJ...off to do more lol. My preference of judging was by 11% same with introverted vs extroverted lol

  13. I don't feel like taking that test again to remember what I was.

  14. Everyone I've known to do these tests comes out as an introvert. Is this just because the kind of people who are extroverts wouldn't take the test in the first place, because they're too busy banging hot bitches and bungee-jumping, or is the human race become more naturally introverted?

I get the feeling a lot of people answer more introvertedly bc of the setting in which they're taking the test. If your home alone having a relaxing day then sure, reading a book instead of going to a party sounds great. I don't expect a lot of people to take the test with a bunch of friends around.

  16.
Nope I had most everyone in my family take it. I'm the only Introvert. They all felt like they knew me much better than before. Everytime I am not saying something they are asking me what I am thinking about now. I definitely have that insular sort of mind that drifts off during conversations that aren't of interest to me. I'm usually thinking about my future or analyzing social situations to a ridiculous extent.

But no my dad got the party animal one I can't remember which one that was though. It's like 16% of all people.

The most introverted extroverted are ENTP's because they're the most odd-ball bunch out of the extrovert camp, they're less normal and very goofy and weird. They want to solve the puzzle on how people work from a distance but not actually meeting them and getting to know them like a ESFJ will also action/object/goal orientated. Next that come are socially declined ENTJ's and ENFP's, these three extroverts are the ones that we're naturally supposed to click with. One interesting thing is one of the most widely known philosophers/comedians George Carlin was a ENTP and he hated people, funny how that sounds for a E.

But on the whole E/I dichotomy, its just based on traditional stereotypes but without going farther on which Introvert has extrovert functions and which Extrovert has introverted functions. Basically, every person has introverted and extroverted cognitive functions but some develop ones and leave others in a dust which may make them uncomfortable in situations in which they are needed.

@[member="psychoperson25"] Dude I'm so analytical, it's not even funny. It's like my cerebral is zoning out in another dimension because the current moment that I'm in is getting a ZZZZZ feeling/bore so I mostly delve into my own world basically using these "characters" that I encounter, mock them and use them in internal plays or comedic episodes. I gotta question for you: When you encounter a sensor, what is your conversation with them and does it flow or lead to the direction that you want it to be and how is that different when talking to an intuitive?

  18.
First what do yo u mean by a sensor?

If you mean when I'm talking to other people they tend to lead the conversation. I like talking with people just some mundane stuff I have a harder time being interested in. I'm more interested in creativity, philosophy, religion, and heavier subjects. Or just interesting things like animals and other such things. I like to talk about people too if they are interesting.

I always over-read into situations and think of every possible outcome too, it makes it real hard when I'm trying to get what I want out of a situation.

  19. Sometimes I dislike being an intj, it is a very strenuous life.

its very hard to respect people if youre a legit intj..

Sensors are mostly people who talk about the concrete, past related information, "live in the here and now" but the problem is most of them have no "N" in them which means they see only see things at face value but never object value, some of them have black and white judgement instead of looking at a shades of grey standpoint, superficial, can't really play devil's advocate or question the information they annotate. Also no imagination because they think it's nonsense <_<

Here's the good and part about Sensing vs Intuitive.

Mundane = small talk but does this ever expand or bridges into a intellectual conversation? I notice that most of the women that I encounter in social environments are SJ's and SP's, the SJ women are mostly likely to be conservative and live the traditional "clean" lifestyle while the SP are the ones are the "PARTYYYY" "LET's GET DRUNKK" type of people but the SP women are more fun because they aren't adamant or give contempt about people who are different about them unless they suck. Also, the SP women are most likely liberal towards physical activities.

I'm also interested in those subjects, basically if the conversation has either these elements 1.)amusing   2.)humorous   3.)intellectual then I'm in but if the person doesn't add any substance or can't manipulative the topic in a interesting way then I'm ejecting.

LOL, who said we need to automatically like or respect people? That's why we weed through the shitty people to get the ones that we find enjoyable or pleasant.
