My 2 little sprouts,one has only been out for 3 days and the other is still not completely out the grown yet, have dark purple stems. This is an outdoor grow in 5-5-5 potting soil. Is this a problem or just genetics?
Could be genetics, could be P deficient (doubt it since they're so young), or could be too cold of temps at night. I wouldn't worry about it as long as the leaves are green.
I have a similiar issue going on. There were 4 started at that same time frame and this is the only 1 that has a purple stem with really dark leaves. Also it is only half the size of the others.
