  1. OK so here is the deal brand new pax right out of the box. I have done alot of googling and can't seem to figure out what could be wrong. I have mine set to medium I am packing my dry herbs in and then activating the vape and waiting till its green. Then I breath in slowly for about 10-15 seconds and then ......nothing barely anything i mean even when i look toward a black background and shine a light above where i exhale. I feel slightly elevated but .5 of this bud should have me feeling a lot more than a buzz. On occasion it seems like it is about to start and produces a large thin cloud of vapes but then goes back to nothing. It also occasionally when me or a friend hits it the light flashes and shows the orange for the temp setting i have it on and then turns purple again and then green. My batteries are fully charged and I honestly just am really confused.

  2. The prob you seem to be having with the pull and the amount of vapor its omitting sounds like the same issue I am having with it as well..I has not had to/displayed reheating but def not getting much vapor if any.. also my mouthpiece is getting extremely hot, almost uncomfortable at times. Any issue with that? And has anything improved for u or did u get it replaced? I just wrote to ploom about mine tonight I hopes they can help out. A product that is $250+ should work 100% n I shouldn't have to doubt it. Plus, I've seen reviews w full clouds of vape on exhale n not with mine. Its upsetting

    Ask their website.

  4. The quality of the product you are using can have a tremendous effect on how much vapor the Pax produces, or any vaporizer.

I got some schwag a few times and in my experience, it didn't produce much vapor at all compared to the usual medical quality stuff that I normally get.

Also, the grind of the product can have an effect on the amount of vapor produced. Again in my experience, a finer grind seems to produce more vapor.

I have a Magic Flight Launch Box Finishing Grinder that gets the product to almost a powder consistency. This seems to produce the best results for me when using the Pax.

I'd venture to say that my Pax produces comparable "clouds" of vapor to that of my VapeXhale Cloud, in terms of volume.

  5. I just got my Pax also, Tuesday actually. I was expecting huge clouds of vapors. After a couple of unsuccessful runs, I did some more research. Slow pulls are key. Dry, fine grinded herbs are key. Dont expect huge clouds like the vids show. Also the quality of bud has a part in the vape cloud

I always imagine myself being a fat Italian dude smoking a cigar. You have to take short puffs out of the Pax to get a consistent hit. And as far as the light showing your temperature setting this is a common problem with the Pax. It means the metal stem connected to your mouthpiece isn't making good contact with the actual Body of the Pax. Use the lubricant they gave you with your Pax and put a drop of it on the outside and inside of the metal stem and then put it back in. The metal stem meaning the one in the picture below. Hope this helps!Oh and REALLY fine material makes a difference. I dropped 50$ on a brand new Santa Clara shredder too which makes it into almost a powder consistency. Works amazing! 7. I own a Pax and I have had a similar experience.  When hitting it, Shanks was correct: REPETIVE draws is best and hold as much vapor as possible. The quality of the material has almost everything to do with it.  When using medical grade, I get huge, thick clouds of vapor on the medium setting. I don't bother to grind...not necessary. I pack an entire .4g bud into the oven using the end of a pen. Never had a problem.  Saves the trichomes from griding.

  8. Ya now that I know how to do it properly I always get big clouds on the medium setting as well while smoking top shelf material.

  9. Pack down tight and set to high not medium

  10. Also hit very slow

  11. You don't have a grinder . When it turns green wait an extra 5 seconds . 10 seconds wait between hits

  12. Also make sure to pack it full. I occasionally have the same problem and its always been due to not being packed full enough.
