My parents uses to have an 05 civic hybrid, thing was so slow. I had it flat on the floor trying to scoot across two lanes for a turn and was inches away from getting t-boned. That's why I only buy torquey v8s. I think it had 120 hp. What about you guys?
Tough to say, but I think the '78 Mercedes with the 5 cyl turbo diesel wins that one. Have to peg it to the floor to move anywhere, but every now and then it'll surprise you and break the tires loose. Fun to drive because it's kinda random/unpredictable. I think the 0-60mph time I got when driving it was about 15 seconds.
A Kia Rio. My brother rented one of those pieces of shit and it was just pathetic man. Hitting a hill you really had to floor it. And forget passing people if its a 2 way road. Terrible vehicle. I've got a 3.5 V6. Enough power to do anything I want with ease, but also good on gas.
Probbably my inline six jeep. 200ft lb of torque /190hp Although everything else Ive driven had huge v8's
1998 chevy malibu? was my car in drivers ed and it was a total piece of shit. going 50 was sketchy as fuck the whole car was shaking.... ended up getting totaled that year by some idiot girl that drove it into a tree... glad i wasnt there. it was the i4 version, idk what was wrong with it, but it was SHIT. had over 200k, was probably an old rental donation.
lol, 100k is nothin'. the slowest car i've driven is probably my old autotragic '97 corolla. my '92 civic cx (d15b8, non-vtec) only beats it because it was a five speed.
My current car... Hyundai Accent base model with a little 4 cyl 92 horsepower engine. I don't give a fuck though, she gets great mpg.
2002 Ford Excursion 7.3L V8 Turbodiesel. Accelerates like a turtle especially when in 4wd but it can tow like a motherfucker and still gets around 20mpg.
Are you saying 100k is a lot? Most Toyotas/Hondas will run for around 250k-300k before they die, my brothers 97 Avalon was at 260k before the engine died, my Sienna was around 170k when I sold it and only problem I ever had with it was a faulty starter. My current 99 Ford Ranger has 195k and still running strong, only problem it's had is with the 4wd and the reason for that is unrelated to the mileage. As long as you don't treat your car like crap 100k miles isn't much.
