permanent tip/filter/crutch?

for those of us who use tips in our joints:
I love using tips. I can smoke my spliffs all the way to the end without burning your fingers or your nose or worse-your eyebrows and you don't have to deal with a wire or tweezers. Only takes me about 5 seconds to roll them now, but I've thinking for awhile that instead of rolling a new tip for every joint/every few joints (or not using them at all), it'd be way better to just have a permanent filter.

It'd be green since you wouldn't be wasting paper all the time and less expensive since you wouldn't have to buy tips when you buy papers. Might have to wash it every few joints. Has anybody ever heard of a permanent tip or filter or whatever you care to call it?

If not, I'm probably gonna try making one myself somehow, maybe out of wood or something else, since metal would eat up too much. All you need is a small piece, cut it in a small cylinder shape and then hollow it out and seal it well so it doesn't catch fire.

anyway, just an idea. been wondering this for too long now, thought I'd see if anyone's encountered one before.

 

yeah I looked in gc store, didn't see anything by 'root and b'. I found a few chillum permanent filters but those are curve out too wide for joints.

but they still appear to be disposable after awhile and it's still a pretty wide filter (.3 in in diameter).

I actually might try some clay that's easy to mold and may a filter out of that, shouldn't be as hard as a making a wood filter like I previously considered..

whattttt, those look unreal. a bit nicer than what I was looking for, but I found them in stock on their main site for only $24, just might have to make the purchase.

 

you don't smoke the a crutch, it just acts as a crutch so you can smoke more of your weed. For me, I'd rather smoke a joint in my hand than use a metal clipper, kinda defeats the purpose of it being a joint but hey that's just my opinion.
