Female Seeds all Organic starring C99 and Northern Lights (auto)

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by organicN40, Apr 8, 2013.

  1. I am going back to my favorite seed company this year, Female Seeds.

I have some seeds that were sent to me last year and i have been saving for when i have time to grow them into perfection.

Now is the time, and 5/5 of the Auto NL have popped and are now pushing through the soil.

2/5 of the Outdoor C99 have popped, and the other 3 are beginning to crack. (freakishly cold on my windowsill this week!)

The composted Humanure is being applied to the plots and the surrounding vegetation is being gently manicured to allow the sunlight to enter, but not the prying eyes of evil doers.

Photos to come as the plants are photo-worthy!

  2. We meet again! Tis the season. C99 is a strain iv always been interested in, wonder if you will get any "pineapple" in the outdoor version. Seeya around man

  3. hey man, good to see you are around still. stay tuned for this years grow.

this is my first experiment with the auto flowering varieties, i am trying to beat the bad weather this year and the fungus.

super psyched about the C99 and all the tasty flavors it may have.

i went to the patch in the forest and double dug the soil and then added more fresh compost on the top. the plots are good to go and full of worms!!

now i just wait for the seedlings to get about a foot tall and out they go.

  4. i will attempt one last time to post an update.  this new system keeps losing my posts.

let's see if this posts first and then some photos of my awesome humanure grow!

  5. ok, it is working, now for some updated photos.

the most interesting pics are the Auto NL.  i got two phenotype showing, both look dank!  only difference is in the height so far.

the C99 is growing well and should begin flowering next week or so.  about the time i harvest the Northern Lights.

  6. ok, that seemed to have worked just fine.

i will try to keep this journal updated now that i know that it works.

let me know what you think.

  7. Why do you expect the C99 to start flowering so soon? Unless it's an auto it shouldn't flower until august or so. Anyway, you caught my attention with the organic C99 grow. I love the strain and organic makes  it even better. Good luck with the season. It's all looking great so far.

  8. the Female Seeds variety of Outdoor C99 is crossed with their Easy Sativa.  I grew the Easy Sativa a few years ago and it began flowering in the first week of July.  The C99 should have picked up this trait.  Indeed, when i went to my patch to spray BT a few days ago, I noticed that she is beginning to start the alternating nodes that are the first signs of flowering!

The NL has a nice fruity smell and is covered with the corpses of insects that came to close and got stuck to the dripping resin that covers all the fan leaves now!

  9. I just read trew most of your prior grows great stuff!

  10. i am seeing nice autumn colors on the indicas now.

the C99 is going into flowering and stretching more.

the Bt killed the little bastards that were munching on my girls.

all is well and with very little effort.  organic humanure and great genetics is the lazy stoners way to get good results!!

  11. thanks man!  this is my passion for sure.  i love getting stoned on last years grow and going to work in my garden or just sit there and sniff the pretty flowers!!

  12. Autumn colors on the Indicas? You sure that's not some sort of deficiency? After all it is the start of July. Plants should be vegging full force. Getting prepared for flowering in the coming months.

Anyways, things look nice and healthy. Looking forwarding to seeing another successful grow.

  13. the title of the grow is 'northern lights auto'.....that is why they are finishing up now.

no deficiency in my humanure i am sure.

thanks for dropping in, keep watching to see how the flowers finish.

  14. here is a photo update.

indicas are all clear on the trich front.  i found a few milky whites, but not enough to get excited about.

they are smelling very fruity and musky, sort of acrid and sweet.  weird little plants with thick leaves and very textured, almost prickly underneath.  very different from all the sativas i have grown so far.  i am excited to find out what an indica buzz is truly like.

lots of trichs on the secondary leaves, so it looks like a good batch to make hash from.

  15. harvest is finished on the NL.

it is drying now and will be ready for testing soon.

very sticky buds with trichs on leaves and stems.....good for hash making!

if anyone is interested, i will take some more pics and post them.

    let me know.

  16. i really wanna know how much u yielded :D:D:D:D gonna order some autos for my first grow outdoor...
do u suggest i use an organic soil mix or coco/perlite mix ?

  17. the two small plants gave me 8 grams each, the third gave 15 grams and the largest gave 20 grams.

compared to the monster SAtivas i usually grow, this is a very small harvest.

however, it is nice to have fresh flowers in the middle of summer with no mold issues.   these plants are too easy to grow.

  18. I would like to see an update on the Cindy
