  1. hey everybody! Over the past year I've read and heard so many different answers or comments about root bound plants it is extremely frustrating not to know the truth I can even say that one hydro shop in my neighborhood says something completely different than the other hydro shop. My specific issue today is I grew C-99 in 5 gallon pots thinking this would fix any chance of a root bound plants (they germed/vegged for 6 weeks from seed and were topped a few times). Their now 5 weeks into flower and I have roots sticking above the soil and I'm needing to water almost everyday. Should I add soil to the top of the plants, however I know that that will mean I'm giving it more nitrogen which it does not need right now. Or is this not a big deal meaning the roots sticking out? I am praying that an actual professional reads this and answers I know this is a very common question or would concern for all growers!
