I saw the film career and I recommend it. Julianne Moore is great... http://www.moviestream.cz/carrie-movie/
Too hard to say, nothing really scares me. And GORE does not equal HORROR! They should be two separate genres, I don't know why everyone thinks gross equates to being scary.
Dunno if it's been mentioned yet but The Strangers (2008) was a good one for me. I'm a huge horror movie fanatic so I'm pretty immune to a lot of the scare/suspense tactics directors use in some movies and I distinctly remember thinking The Strangers did a nice job at it. It had the cliche "vinyl record player suddenly starts playing ironically happy 60s music" scene but it was tolerable (and even sorta worked) cause the rest of the movie did such a good job at creeping me the FUCK out. It's a little underrated in IMDB but it's definitely in my "Top Ten Brickshitting Movies". If anyone's seen The Purge (2013), it's a similar idea in the sense that the characters have the evil INSIDE their home as opposed to on the outside, but done a LOT better in The Strangers with tons more suspense imo. It had a good balance of suspense, horror, gore, and mystery overall. Would recommend it to anyone on a cozy night in, with all the lights off and maybe one or two other people, if any. Happy toking!
Maybe not the scariest but first in many years to give me real chills was Oculus Sent from my LGLS990 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I don't watch scary movies too much anymore. But, one that I still find scary is (and some may laugh) The Ring. It just creeped me the hell out. The video that kills was just disturbing.
Anything with someone being possesed is scary to me lol that kind of thing is about the only shyt that scares I like the movie Dark Skies has anyone else seen that? pretty good
