  1. I need any information about growing out doors in Florida it will Also be my first grow

  2. If your growing outside in a non secure area such as a forest, your going to need chicken wire. Rabbits will eat your plants right up, trust me I lost all my plants a couple of years ago last time I tried to grow outside. Start your plants off inside in a solo cup until they have grown there third pair of leafs, this will greatly improve your plants chance of survival. Once you are ready to transfer your plants outside into your 5 gallon bucket use fox farms ocean forest soil this will provide about 30 days worth of nutrients. Good luck bro, peace.

  3. Thanks ya there are a lot of rabbits in my area and what about time like its to cold right now but I was thinging start of April to plant

  4. Here in FL i believe we get last frost before most other states. So, I don't know when it is last frost normally for us, (smoke to much to pay attention over the years), but I think April /May might be perfect for florida weather. But as said, can't remember for sure. If i find out I'll come back and let you know.

  5. Lol. It's Florida. A tropical climate. You don't have a frost date. It's rare to get 1 here freeze a year down there. I have had plants out for 6 weeks now with no problem am I am probably 500 miles further north away from the equator than you.

  6. ^I never knew we didn't have a frost date. Figured the weather would still be to cold right now. Drops down to 40 at night.

  7. And you know freezing is 32. And that is just considered a light frost and that is not a problem. It's the hard freeze temps below 30 for a long period of time.

  8. Ohhhh! Yeah, I'm still pretty new to this whole thing. So... still learning how everything works, but I just remember hearing something about frost dates, and didn't know FL doesn't have one. So, when is the latest you can start a plant here?
(sorry if I just jacked your thread dude)

  9. I'm in so calif and i put my 1st clones in the ground Feb 15th .. plant now seeds or clones should do just fine .. they will flower fast and short due to the still short days but you'll get some bud..with little or no real frost you can grow all year.. and a grow box would let you play with light cycles.. get long veg times in winter before setting plants out to flower.. and the reverse is true.. bring potted plants inside mid summer to early flower.. lots of things can be done..
