So, for the past two nights I have taken 6 mg's of melatonin before going to sleep. I will continiue doing that, but I will keep a dream journal on this thread for every time I have a dream. Most nights I have more than one dream, sometimes I can only recall a few of them, or maybe even just one.. But you will always get a post.. Every day that I am here.. for a dream. Enjoy. Melatonin makes the dream world much more vivid, and easier to recall. It is also used, coincidentally, as a sleep aid.

Dream 1, October 17:
I find myself in some sort of zoo.. A reptile exhibit, althought I have only seen a portion of it. My friend places a small lizard on my chest. Its claws dig into my chest. I know this, but I cannot feel any pain. It is very close to my face, and I all of a sudden see a rather large iguana on a pedestal near me. I approach it, the small lizard on my chest hisses and grips me firmly. It grabs a hold of me with its teeth and I am unable to get it off.. The large iguana pounces.
NOW, this is where it gets interesting. I woke up immediately after the iguana pounced towards me, before it hit me even. I looked towards the corner of my bed and the wall, and right there sleeping was a huge grey reptile.. It had to have been 12 feet in length and had its tail curled up around it. It slept completely perpendicular to the ceiling. Ass on the ceiling, head stretched over my bed.. close to me. Before I could realise what was going in, it just disappeared. I sat in my bed thinking for a few minutes, and threw it aside.. But that visualisation stayed with me.. Here, I'll show you.
The black line represents how it was set up and sleeping. It really didn't obey any laws of gravity. Reminded me almost of a..manatee, now that I think of it.

I do not see the correlation between a visual hallucination upon awakening of a reptile sleeping. I am at peace with reptiles, In fact I love them.. But maybe it just coincided with the dream I was having. I did not move much with the lizard gripping me and the iguana attacking me.. But I was frightened, slightly, by this huge reptile.. It looked almost like a musky.. Or a northern pike:

It had a much longer tail though. The mouth was similar in dimensions, which is why I was slightly terrified of what would happen if it woke up or I moved too suddenly.. It could have easily swallowed me whole. I don't want to call it a hallucination, but it disappeared quickly.
This concludes lasts nights dream journal.

I didn't sleep at all last night. Dream 2 will be saved for my afternoon nap.
I'm halfway through 'The I Chong'.. Pretty good! I really like it.

Damn dude... I'm gonna have to go by GNC and pick me up some of that.
You ever use in in combination with Cannabis? That'd be interesting to experiment with.

Dream-
This is one that stuck out to me.. A great battle, as it were. It was more of an American-Middle Eastern type battle.. It was set up as two great ships on either side of a small scale of water, with a formation of rocks blocking the two ships from seeing eachother. When we were preparing to battle, the General (Who was next to me
), began to cry aloud.. And he mentioned something about Grasscity, for the sake of argument, I'm leaving what he said out.. It is irrelevant I patted him on the back and moved along the deck. The mood in the air gave a great sense that this would be a final battle of sorts (Such as the battle of Minas Tirith). The air was quiet.. People were sweating and nervous. I heard nothing. I leapt into the water and swam towards the rock formation, rather than just peeking over the side, shooting beyond it and immediately seeing a troublesome sight. All of the enemy's boats were heading towards me. I shouted towards my ship, "Incoming!" and immediately had a reccolection of the movie 'We Were Soldiers" at the beginning when the French Trumpeteer blasting a warning message towards hsi troops, his throat exploded. I dove underwater, and realised they had already seen me. I shot back towards the ship, and saw troops underneath me in the water.. One attacked me. I think I shot him in the face. I dont know.. I remember going back to the ship and witnessing the soldiers disemboweling prisoners. I woke up then.
I love dreams like that.

Sorry I haven't kept everyone posted.. I haven't slept alot, as of late, and if I have I really haven't been taking melatonin. Just dealing with my ex, then trying to keep up with my journalism (More to come) and find a fucking job at the same time.
Safeway might be hiring. It's been a hectic few days. I think I'm gonna arrange an interview for tomorrow and see what I can do. Barnes N Noble aren't hiring.
If any dreams come about tonight, You guys will be the first to hear about them..

Cool journals man. I've been thinking. And I've decided that dreams are just something that our brain creates to subconsicouly get in touch with our feelings. A dream is something that you only experience. Your brain controls it, and you experience a feeling that realistically you might not be able to feel. Maybe we have dreams becuase our brain is keeping our feelings intact. Not sure where I'm going with this or if anyone that reads it will understand it. I'm just saying that we have dreams for a reason that our brain controls.
