and it is so fucking annoying. he just sits by my other dogs side, waiting, and then eevrytime i leave, i swear he is trying to fuck her. once a day i let him out of the house to run around the neighborhood, and he will be gone for a couple of hours, but now he just sits by the front door waiting to come inside a couple of nights ago, i let him outside and he sat by the front door all night. usuelay when he is ready to come back inside, he just barks and i get him, well i checked on him thoughout the night and he was just sitting by the door...didnt even bark poor doggys. on tuesday i am taking my females to get fixed,i guess he wont be interested in her anymore the thing is, i am paranoid about taking my dogs because last time i got my dogs vacinated, one of them got parvo and almost died (he was 8 wks) if someone is intersted in that story.... http://forum.grasscity.com/pets/1147019-my-8wk-old-puupy-caught-parvo-virus-might-help-you.html a few the times before that, another puppy got distemper and died this time they are going to cut up my baby and i dont really have much trust in the pet healthcare system anymore sooooo i can get her fixed for free....just gota wake up at 530 am, no problem thanks to weed i guess what is really bothering me inside is how do you decide to do something for her, when in the past, you had badluck with those kinds of things? like reallly badluck...i mean the person performing the procedure could fuck up, my dog could be that one ina million, or whatever...idk now

Would you consider getting the boy fixed? I have two females and when a male showed up on my doorstep I knew there would be problems keeping them apart so I took in the boy and decided that he would be the one to get fixed since a neutering is much less invasive than a spaying and heals much faster too. Oops just saw you posted this yesterday so I hope your pup is on her way to recovery!

Fixing female dogs increases their lifespan several times.. going into heat is very hard on them, it causes organ damage over time. Anyone giving you a hard time about this is a moron supreme... The same goes for males.
I gotta get my doggie nutured also..Hes a 4.5 year old cocker/heeler mix (kinda looks like a mini, long haired golden lab). Poor guy just wants to hump and hump the other male dogs around here(no females)... Sometimes he even goes after the cats! I feel bad getting my best friends nuts snipped, but in the end its for the better. Plus I cant wait to take him to the dog park this year, hes a chick magnet. Hes gonna be giving me those huge sad cocker eyes the whole time hes got that cone on, i just know it.
Do it sooner than later. If you wait to long he will most likely continue with the unwanted behavior.
Would you rather having to protect your dog from getting pregant for a long time, or go in and get a very safe, routine surgery that is done at least 100 times a week, and not have to worry about her littering? It's cheaper to liscense an altered(spayed/nuetered) dog than it is to liscense an in-tact dog where I live, it's like 6 bucks(USD) a year. It's more like $150USD for an intact dog, it's ridiculous. If you don't get your female spayed, she can end up with cysts on her ovaries which can be fatal. And your male dog has a higher risk for developing cancer in his junk if he's left un-nuetered, and if you're not goigng to be breeding these dogs, and want to have them longer, then getting both of them fixed is your best bet! My dog was spayed too soon and she humps my male dog because of it, but she came from a very bad rescue. I have the same distaste for the pet healthcare system; I took my sick guinea pig to a vet who told me she could take care of him, and ended up killing him by squeezing him too hard. She didn't even bother to tell me he was dead, she was more interested in showing me his x-rays. I had to pay $180 for her to squeeze him to death. Found out that he was going to die no matter what, but she didn't bother telling me that until I picked his body up. A while back I remember seeing some sort of obscene toy for dogs, that...ahem, cured their horniness, we'll say. It was dog shaped and vibrated, but supposidly worked wonders!
