  1. damn. didn't think it was that big. would you say it's more important to pump like a waterfall or all the same with airstones in the bottom (assuming it's a smaller setup)?

  2. Even with a 5 gallon bucket system you just need as big as an air pump as you can get for your money. That's the most important thing. A recirculating pump is even better when used in conjunction and maximized its potential when it is piped up as a waterfall bringing natural oxygen down as it breaks the water surface tension, creating air bubbles like as you see when you pour one liquid into another... Just remember to have air in there, Its in the name. AACT actively aerated compost tea.
And remember your sugars/sucrose/molasses whatever you choose to use it is your food for the biological organisms

  3. thanks man. any pump recommendations for a 10 gallon system?

  4. As far as the water pump don't really need anything much bigger than this for the recirc...

The air pump should be as big or bigger than this...

Use the flexible air hoses they don't chip like the stones and you can run them in a coil pattern around the bottom of the tea brewer for maximum diffusion area.

  5. This is simply amazing. I love what you are doing and with $10k in investment that nets over 200lbs is something that really makes me laugh. (in a good way) The way its all organic as well just adds the milk with the already iced cake. Would love to talk more because this seems doable with a lot of hard work and arthritis after all that trimming. Any new grows for this year?

  6. From Oregon as well. Nice job and keep the updates coming. Can't get enough....

  7. Very interested in watching your grow and seeing how things turn out. It seems you know what your doing. 4 lb plants should be reachable.

  8. 4lb plants are my small ones ;) shoot for 10 pounders I got one in the works. Purple Berry tree.

  9. I'm shooting for 2-3 lbs per plant but wouldn't be surprised if I get more. Trying to keep things under the fence but some are already 4 ft tall.

  10. looks awesome man, I wanna do a similar situation in the big greenhouse I'm building, definitely gonna follow along on this one!
