It's possible if they are running something like this http://us.cnn.com/2013/06/06/politics/nsa-internet-mining/?iref=obinsite (Government data mining major sites such as google, yahoo etc) in the UK. Here in the US it's breaking news that Verizon phone turned over personal, business, international as well as local phone call data. In addition, the government has been mining most of the major sites. This is all new and not some conspiracy theory garbage.
