hey so i am wondering what the optimum height for flowering a clone is to give it the best yield for a quick grow in a greenhouse. I am trying to get a quick grow in while im also starting my annual grow. I will be getting the clones tomorrow in cubes which will go into solo cups of 3gal pots(depending on roots). My goal is a 225gram yield from each clone, the minimum yield i want is 125gram. So "typically" how long should you veg/wait to flower? How tall/wide/large should the clones before i flower them? The greenhouse is a 12ft x 8ft rectangle with semi-circle pvc roof. The maximum height is 6ft. I'm assuming i should flower them when they are 2-3ft tall because they should double to triple in size during flowering. I will be covering the greenhouse when i decide to start flowering and the clones will finish flowering in 25gal smart pots. Thanks in advance for the help.

  2. To yield your estimated 4 ounces or more per plant you'd want nice and bushy 2-3 ft tall plants like you said. Just as wide as they are tall. The more tops the better. Your plan sounds logical as long as you use good soil and have a decent amount of light. But it might take a while to get the plants to the size you're shooting for. I started a few of my clones early February and they're just starting to get to the size where I'd want to flower them. So say 2 months of veg time and 2 more months of flower, or more. You could be looking at 5 months before you see a harvest. That's almost as long as waiting for the regular grow season to roll around. But it certainly doesn't hurt to have some plants finish a couple months before the rest if you have room to have both sets of plants for that long. You may want to just flower at 1-2 ft tall and be happy with whatever you get for the sake of a timely yield. That's just my 2 cents. Good luck with whatever you try to do.

Thanks! I agree completely. I will mostly likely 24/0 veg for a month then flower. I am still wondering f there are any signs for when the vegging clone has reached the best size to flower. I know I could potentially veg forever but at some point the growth rate must start to decline.

What do you think is the estimated yield from clones with only 2 weeks veg?

And shouldnt I be able to add some sups to possibly speed everything up still with good yields?

    Thanks.

  4. a solid 10x10 bush with a stem the size of a coke can would be optimum. or whatever works they will doublish ussualy
