My favorite discs are the buzzz, the flash, and my blizzard champion teedevil. The buzzz is the best overall disc out there IMHO. I really like the blizzard plastic from innova because it is very light weight and that helps with my stamina and they won't turn over like you would expect from a <150 gram disc. Also, I really dig my breeze, it's a -1 midrange that can really carve up a course.
I need to fill my bag back up this spring... lost a handful out night golfing My favorite driver was a real heavy champion ape and putter a champion rhino
I think my Rhyno is R-Pro plastic. Wicked soft, nice grip. My wish list this year; 1-new bag 2-new Predator (non-flex) 3-lights for night play
flx challenger for putts, buzz for mid, eagle for fairway, surge ss for drives. i tend to like discraft more then innova. i have thrown some latitude 64 discs and they are really nice as well. westside discs have the best stamps imo
I REALLY need to get some good lights. My schedule is gonna be really odd/hectic this summer, so nights might be a good option for me to try. What're the best disc and basket lights?
I picked up a Surge SS at the very end of last season when the local stores were having close out deals. Buddy recommended I get one, but I haven't gotten much of a feel for it yet.
I don't know where to get some good basket lights, but I'm sure you could snag some off this internet thing. I usually night play on fairly open course under the moonlight. I'm not too serious about it so I pick up some bobber lights for 4 bucks from walmart. They usually have a few nights worth of play and I just put a thin layer of tape over the top of it. Doesn't seem to change the disc that much but it's usually a pretty stoned drunken time. Those lights are like LED and a real bright red color. I found them in the sporting goods/fishing department. something like that
This is what my wife bought me: Was wondering if there was a brand/type that ppl preferred over another. Still need basket lights too, to which I've seen a few varieties.
man perfect, i like the colors too.. where did she pick something like those up? the thing about basket lights is that it's like you're playing the course twice by the time you walk to the basket, put the light on, and walk back to the pad... so I typically take a shot in the dark lol the only problem we've had night golfin around here is that the park is closed and the pigs like to roll through. We just turn the lights off and hide in the dark until they leave. It brings even more excitement to the game
I know she ordered them online. My best guess is amazon. Ya, I was a bit annoyed thinking about the extra time putting up basket lights, but that's a sacrifice I'm ok with if it grants a busy guy like myself a little more disc time. Course I play at has no closed time that I'm aware of, so I'm good there.
I love my innova beast and Orc. Been huckin for 5 years, played around 70 courses, In 15 states. Also my money putter is a dirty old aviar putter
Damn. I only played in 3 different courses in what was my first year (started mid-late summer) last season. Excited to get out there more regularly once this stupid snow is gone.
It's been forever since I've been on here (been busy as hell and had to cut some hobbies out), but I'm back. Since I was last here I've discovered the beauty that is Trilogy plastics. I only bag 1 non Trilogy disc now (Blowfly 2 for safety putts). Wondering if anyone else here has made similar changes
