I agree. Disc golf in the winter is great. Not as many ticks and Mosquitos. Great to burn a doobie and enjoy the peaceful silence.
I almost frolfed once, it looked like a blast but we had no Frisbees. Hoping to try it out this year once the snows gone.
I have been playing for years. I am an avid player. I love being on the course with my buddies and going into the woods to "look for my disc".
Never frolfed, but I am definitely ready to smoke some green, and get out on the green for 18 holes. What are the rules, and what do you do in frolfing?
I never played on an actual course. Back in the 80's when camping, we would play by picking out targets, trees mostly, but sign posts, picnic tables etc. were used. And you throw the frisbee at the target, however many throws it takes to get to the target is your score. Fun. I would imagine real courses have par settings and levels of difficulty.
Most likely, sounds like a lot of fun though. I think I did something close to you as a kid, we would pick out trees in our yards, and play h-o-r-s-e.
Warning: Disc golf is addictive! I started with three discs. Now I've got 12 in my bag. (I need a bigger bag). Everyone I meet on the course seems blazed. Or maybe it's just me?
I'm about to hop in the car and go play. It's such a stoner friendly game, everyone is very easy going.
Played today! I agree with the addiction. I'm only up to 4 discs now but I definitely see myself getting more.
