Just google around and you will find something.

Edit: Or you can just do a system restore.

Sounds like you got a RAT. Download combofix and see if it finds anything.

First of all, boot in safe mode (if you don't know how, google it). This will prevent the virus from loading on startup, giving you access to your computer. Next download malwarebytes and run a system scan, have it automatically take care of the virus and you should be clean. Source: I'm a computer techie and have seen this before.

Never rely on a single antivirus. A single antivirus program including malwarebytes will not detect 100% of the viruses/spyware/malware/rootkits out there. Always have 3-4 different programs scan your HD one by one.

Download combofix, hitman pro, malwarebytes, superantispyware, and Gmer rootkit scanner. Run them in that order.

This is one of the worst things you can do.

Antivirus programs will almost always conflict with each other.

Get one good antivirus program and you'll be set. I use MSE, it's free, and updated more than daily.

Oh and use your common sense; when you see an ad offering you $1000, for God's sake, don't click it.

Whenever you download a program, check the URL and website to make sure it's from a legit company. Try upping your User Account Control options. If you don't know how to do that, a quick Google search will show you.

Umm they are not to be installed at the same time obviously. And some of the antiviruses I mentioned do not need to be installed period. :)

They are used to fight malware and virus, they are not active anti-virus progams. That is a good list to follow. :smoke:

Responsible browsing doesn't fly any more. You can get a virus on legit forums. There were quiet a few people on a popular car forum complaining about a trojan the forum was dropping not too long ago. Sometimes google Adsense lets infected Ads slip through.

I had a similar one, a system restore to the day before fixed it for me. Make sure you regularly set a restore point!
