Best Vape Pen for dry herb?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by MoldyBread, Feb 24, 2013.

  1. Although it's not a pen, I would recommend the MFLB as a good first portable vape :)

  2. Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum. Wanted to really share my opinions on these pens. I too was in need of a good vape pen that did dry herbs. I tried the atmos raw and the vaporcone elite....both sucked big time. They definitely combusted, and the taste was harsh. After many hours of online researching, I found the vaporx xrt. It sucked cuz I couldn't find any reviews on it...but I chanced it. And let me tell you, what a difference. Now i'll be honest, it's not a true vape...but it's very close...and the combustion is little to none. The taste is wayy better also. Especially once you get the hang of it. I don't regret buying it. You can get a good three draws, and if you mix it once, you'll get another good two draws. And believe me, you'll be good with that. And for the small amount of herbs that are used, you can't go wrong. Only downside part is the cleaning of the mouthpiece and filter. I find myself doing this often, only because the taste is better of course. I really like my pen. And you have to think about it. It's a small device,..it's not going to produce bong rips. It's not meant to be passed around in a session either....it's a personal vape. And for only that, it does a great job. Hope this helps out. Btw, i'm saving up for a PAX. Wish they were cheaper  -__-

    Peace.

  3. I have an atmos, it's ok. My real con is that it doesn't hold much weed so constantly refilling it is a pain. I recently ordered my buddy a Cloud. For $50 and free shipping on ebay it's a great product for that price. Has a lifetime warranty on the battery also. So for a cheap budget id recommend a cloud

  4. I've seen many good reviews for this used with concentrates but how good is it with dry herb?

  5. Cloud pens, micro g, eclipse, perfection pen....they're all the same... and they don't do dry herbs. However, ive been keeping my eye on a company called PowerPen. They're really doing some neat stuff with their attachments. They came out with a dry herb attachment but its still in testing phase....and I think they're out of stock. Anyways, I'm waiting until it's legit.

  6. I just ordered an Atmos yesterday, can't wait for it to arrive!  I havn't used it yet but got a few recommendations for it.  So I have HIGH hopes lol.

  7. I have the atmos raw it's ok. it combusts and is definitely personal (3-4 hits max per bowl) good for stealth, but still reeks because of combustion. Honestly they are selling a $20 product for $100...... So do yourself a favor and get the mflb like I wish I did

  8. is this a good vape? any info you can provide? i bought, should be shipping soon. ive only heard good things about it, with one exception of a guy on FC saying that it burned his herb. i dont have high expectations really, but maybe i am just prejudicial of the low price

  10. yes, it does, the mcig has some issues though, namely that they provide you a thick bristle brush with a metal tip to clean the inside of the chamber with, but there is a thin heating coil in the chamber which can easily get detached and render the vape useless. it also allows for easy combustion if your not careful. its not an even vape either. its definitely only good for portability and price IMO. im looking for something that is also good for quality.i will post whether i like the dube, but the mcig is good for the price and portability, dont get me wrong. i am getting 2.

Pretty sure they fixed the coil issue. New ones will be out on the 6th.Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
