I have always rolled with the filter on the left and thought that this was the norm, but it's come to my attention that most of the people I smoke with put it on the right side. Curious as I am, I thought I would ask the people with the most experience in this sort of trivial pursuit... the stoners of Grasscity! Please include which hand you are dominant in as well! I am ambidextrous and curious if handed-ness has anything to do with it. Muchas Grathhhias
Right side here. I use wide rolling crutches. They take like 1.5 cm of the j. I place half of it sticking out, so when I finish the joint, push it in to pack it a little extra. They look too classy as fuck with a long crutch.
Me either... who needs a crutch when you can roll a perfect cone. Also, to the OP; I'm also ambidextrous, but I find it easier to roll to the right. Though I haven't had any issues rolling left.
The thing I hate about rolling is how much it wastes because of how hot it burns. I could smoke a gram blunt lined with keef and hash, with no problem. Put that same amount of weed in a pipe or bong... and I'll have trouble finishing it.
I don't always use a filter when i roll , but when i do i prefer the right , but maybe cuz im right handed ?
I put it on the right Right handed With the gum facing away, so I roll it backwards kind of ,then rip off all the remaining paper Less paper the better
I use filters when I buy papers that come with then like these elements I usually put it on the left..
I don't understand. Why would you want to filter out the very thing that you want going in your lungs. I totally understand filters on cigs but weed? You are filtering out THC, CBN's and CBD's, the very cannabinoids that get you high. Why in the hell would you want to do that?
They're not talking about an actual filter, just a rolled up piece of cardboard or paper to keep weed out of your mouth and to keep the joint open at the end. Think of it more as a screen than a filter
Ah, ok. Thanks for the explanation. That makes more sense. Just never heard of anyone doing this before.
The terms a roach.... Well atleast where I'm from it is. End of joint it becomes roached(unsmokeable), but I was like wtf is this crutch thing these peeps r speakin off. Any one seen (in actual life) or used the cypress hill glass roach/crutch/end things
It's a crutch when you roll it... a roach is any rolled paper or blunt that is already smoked to the end. That end piece is a roach. The crutch is the cardboard IN the roach.
That over complicates it lol no point changed ways now if I asked for some crutch material my mates wuld think I'm on some kinda planet off my own
