Whats up guys! I bought 5 feminized Northern Lights seeds a while back with a germination kit. I finally put one of the seeds in the germination kit ( to make sure it will work!). Will be using a 600 watt Metal Halide light for vegatative growth and HPS for flowering. Any ways, I was wondering if anyone has used the germination kit and if it works? Thanks! Also, This is the thread where I will be posting pictures from germination to flower!
I have fox farm ocean soil, As far as nutrients, I'm not too sure what to get, I have a really good shop nearby that I will probably get some from. I also have ph up and down just in case something goes wrong during the grow though.
FFOF works without extra nute's if you keep transplanting into fresh soil. HOWEVER among the soil-head growers on this site, its well known that FFOF is deficient, they make it deficient so you need to buy their bottled ferts. A well rounded organic soil should not require any additional fertilization (I add a couple supplements but no real NPK fertilizer). This implies buying the organic boxed nutrients, and adding them to your soil several weeks before planting so the microbes can digest the nutrient into usable form for your plant. have you checked this thread out yet? Wow thanks for the info, I did not know that. I'm checking out that thread right now, a lot of helpful info! I'm going to transplant probably about 2-3 times until I finally get it in my big pot. Thanks for the link!
