training for two root systems sep. buckets

  1. ok, so the other night i was smoking with a buddy and had a idea. i have tried to research it but either finding the right words to use in the search is to hard.

-anyways would it be possible to train your plant like a SoG but when its sideways cut a leaf like you would a clone but instead of planting the leaf you cut off to acually plant the stub on the plant now. Hopefully then creating 2 seperate root systems. This is all just off the top of my head but if you had a plant growing in two 5g buckets i would think it would have twice the nuts and such making it a tronger SoG plant.

whats everyones thought on this? possible? impossible? worth it?

    heres a drawling

  2. if you think about it, instead of having a 10g bucket you would have two 5g buckets basicly growing two plants but it being one. Which means there would be near twice the amount of roots for the plant in half the time. meaning that the plant would get twice the nuts then the normal one. i mean it doesnt seem that crazy... and if nobody has tried then nobody knows if it would work. unless someone knows the chemistry of a plant really well. i was reading about how the plant sends signals to the bottom leafs when you top a plant. so there could be the issue that the plant senses it doesnt need the second root system or something unlike how a leaf would send different signals cause there is no roots. any info would be great, i think it would be a fun experiment with a extra clone.

  3. It is a much simpler idea to double the size of the original container. Aside from the time it would take the plant to begin sending a large enough supply of rooting hormones to really do anything, you would cause the flow of energy within the plant to change greatly, this would have unpredictable results, but it sounds stressful on the plant. If you want to do something unique, try rooting a leaf-its possible-and grow it large enough to take the blades and turn them into blunt wraps ;)

  4. that is a cool idea! and ya its more of like a idea just to try and mess with just would be interesting .

  5. It's been brought up a few times that I seen. Bad idea.

  6. Omfg! I had that same exact fucking thought this morning! Holy Fuck!

  7. I heard of a way to clone I'm pretty Shure it was on this forum. I found it here this is how I think you would do it by doing this technic ,

  8. I don't think anyone was having issues with how to clone, and what was a bad idea? The wraps or the two root system?

  9. He was telling you a method of doing exactly what you first said read it again, air cloning. I have done this it works for growing roots on a branch then you put it in dirt and cut branch from the mother. If you left the branch attached you would have 2 root systems on 1 plant.

    mj:smoking:

  10. it may be impractical but if you was growing the plant for a long time like 4+ months indoors wouldn't it be better for when it gets huge and needs the support of the extra stem??
