  1. First off hello G.C. I have been reading all of your threads and have really been inspired and wow'd in general at the original, and ingenious setups and in depth knowledge you guys post.. I've literally been reading for 6 months straight and only scratched the surface. This is not my first grow but it is my first of this caliber and I have come along way. I have a big mother from some random bag seed in a closet on 12/12 Mylar floor to ceiling 400wat hortilux hps 5 gallon bucket soil. And what I just finished tonight is my 5x4x8' Mylar main tent. :) The main tent has dimible digital ballast 600watts 250cfm 6" inline fan cool tube hood with side reflectors and ratchet hangers. Also what I just got today my 7 5 gallon bucket top drip/aeroponics DWC system! I started 5 N.L. Feminized auto. 4 and 2 weeks ago in an aero garden 7 pod system, I do like the aerogarden for starting seeds, I just transplanted today and got everything going... Phew lots of work the past week.. So my question is.. Should I have the DWC system running 24/7 or on the 18/6 cycle w/ the light and fan??? Thank you for reading G.C. Your input/advise is much appreciated.

  2. One of those girls (the one with the marker) is a freebie from nirvana. Only 4 of those in the buckets are N.L. Fem. auto's .. The fifth is still in the aerogarden, she is the one on my other thread with the stem damage so I left a spot open for her but I did not transplant her yet. But please someone L.M.K. If I should leave the hydro system run 24/7 or put it on 18/6 cycle with the light and fan???

  3. They looked a little droopy after all the drama lastnight but they sure look happy today! The last 3 pics are the OG mama on the 12/12 in a separate closet.

  4. So I left for a couple hours today and when I got back the temperature was at 90! I opened the door and got to work putting a 6" 250cf fan and vent in the ceiling venting up to the attic.. Luckily I already had everything to do it and got the temperature under control. The big one got a little droopy from the heat :-( but I put in T's and hooked the top drip ring and the bottom aero sprayers up and turned up the water pump a little. :)

  5. wow that's a very impressive grow room you've got going on there =) I'm running 2000 watt flower and a 600 watt veg room but I'm only doing soil good luck with everything glad you got the temps under control

  6. I'm only doing soil

Yes, but there is soil and then there is high test, organic living soil that rocks the house down water only needed..

OP, nice room - and good luck to ya.

  8. Dually noted man I was thinking that yesterday. So the temps have been stable still I ordered a 20" wall mount industrial grade fan :) lol. The girls are finally standing up straight instead of drooping. I have a 600watt hortilux red eye for a bulb now, but Monday a CMH 600 bulb will be here. Should I really switch to the CMH? I have read a couple pages were they use the hortilux start to end but.. The consensus seems to be MH and CMH In particular are better for more vigorous growth in veg. State.. Opinions gentlemen?

  9. Damn 2600watts!? I wish.. I'm worried about the electric bill.. How much did it go up with all that wattage? I'm going to check out you thread today, thanks for stopping by man.

  10. My big female In the separate closet on 12/12 is in Miracle grow moisture control with organic additives and aerogardens nutrients. I know people like to hate on MG soil but I had it already and I have had success with it! I am picking up some fox farm soil next week to experiment with though! :) thanks for dropping by sir, I will read your grow thread today.

  11. I must say though I did fill this bitch with 20 gallon and didn't spill a drop! ;-)

  12. Here are a couple shots of the air dam I put in the closet setup, it looks ghetto but its super functional! Temps went from 85 and a problem to 75 constant through out the day 12 hours I just have to remember to open the door in the morning.

  15. Only about 30$ a month

  16. Holy shit no way! That's great! Does that include vent fan and regular fans ect. ??? I'm going to get another 600 for the main tent in the near future if its only that much! :) man that # kind of made my day! My woman would throw a shit fit if all my new equipment jacks the electric up to high.. So I am starting the next generation of dank-ness that will replace the N.L. Auto's in 1-3 months they should be just about ripe for transplanting when the N.L. Are done if I calculated correctly/nature is nice to me. I also used the vent straps to get the timer/power strips up off the ground and hung up higher in case the worst were to happen and I get a leak... I have a tarp on the way that will cover the whole floor and come up the walls a foot or so that I plan to form and duct tape all around forming a water tight seal also in case the worst happens so I don't flood part of the house.. Lol. But everything seems very professionally assembled and of high quality so far I would absolutely recommend this system at this point though we will see if it remains a wise choice in the near future though. I also started playing piano concerto for the ladies a new weekend tradition I am starting. :) its good for chilling out in the room and working too!

  18. Just saw I had this open bucket uncovered and thought "dumb ass!" Rofl no extra light/heat fool! So professional gentlemen of the big GC do you think venting this filter (last pic) up to the attic will help keep the room temp in check? Any real significant heat reduction for the amount of work to install then repair in the future??

  20. So no opinions on the Hortilux HPS vs CMH for vegitive period??
