  3. One time me and my friends were making a bonfire in my friend's backyard which led into some deep woods. The fire was low so we went into the woods to get some wood. On the way in my friend was playing around saying "the devil is gonna get us." I laughed cuz he always played like that. We were the last two on the way back while the rest were already by the fire. My friend pointed the flashlight he had to his left and said "What the fuck?" I pointed my flashlight too and saw this weird looking demon thing kinda like smeagol from LOTR. It was about 1ft. tall and was about 14-16ft. away from us. It had pale colored skin and had thin wet hair. We were facing its side. It had smoke or steam coming from his body. It was breathing heavily and was crouched. My heart dropped as I realized what I was looking at. Me and my friend ran without thinking. We told the rest of the crew. We went back all together and saw nothing. They thought we were bullshitting but we both know what we saw.

Could have been a rabid animal[/quote]

Not likely. As I stared at it, it seemed to have a human shaped body. Still creeps me out tll this day.

  6. Def sounds creepy. I'm in no way trying to un-validate your story, but I know from my own youth that dark woods can do some shit to your head haha

  7. This isn't on the same level at all but it was still unsettling.

When I was about 10 my grandpa was in the hospital, dying. He had various health problems, weak heart, and he caught a nasty infection while recovering from a surgery. One day when we went to see him he was asleep, possibly sedated, but he was twitching around and mumbling in his sleep. My grandma leaned in for a few seconds to listen and then explained what he was saying.

When my grandpa was a teenager he went over to a neighbor's house for some kind of errand. The guy wasn't answering the door, but it smelled like smoke, so he went inside to check it out. The guy was face down in the fireplace. He had a heart attack or stroke while tending to the fire, and he dropped on the spot. The guy was barely alive when my grandpa pulled him out of the fire, but he didn't make it. Apparently that's the memory that my grandpa was reliving in his fever dreams.

The house I'm living in now was built in 1917 and was populated by a lone old woman who was kind of a hoarder, so every room that wasn't the master bedroom was just filled with junk, like big extra closets. Well I'm in one of those rooms, and I was the first person to live in this house before school started - my other two roommates came about a month after I moved in. I decided to celebrate the move by smoking a bunch of weed and exploring the house, even the creepy basement full of shit from 1940 and beyond.

I don't get spooked too easily, so exploring was not scary, but later that night I was chilling in my room with my head against the wall and I started hearing some strange noises. They seemed to be coming directly from the wall, and they sounded like moans and faint screams that were swirling in a big circular motion. I got the chills immediately, but I didn't lift my head from the wall. instead I just relaxed and listened to these sounds for a little while longer, imagining they were some ghosts from worlds beyond or something. After I had enough of that, I went downstairs to get something to eat before going to bed. Upon entering my room, however, I saw something in my walk-in closet that stopped me dead in the doorway - with the lights off in the room I saw what looked like the figure of a little girl standing in the closet and facing directly at me.

I knew there was no little girl standing in my closet, and I knew that my guitar case was propped up against a bunch of junk in there... but goddammit, it looked exactly like there was a girl standing there and looking at me. My mind even had that weird sensation of thinking somebody was watching me. Everything about the house seemed to make sense at that point. I don't know if it's just my crazy imagination or if this house is harboring ghosts, but either way I was immediately humbled by the experience. I turned on the light and got my guitar from the case to play a few tunes in the house I would spend the next year in. It definitely felt like somebody was listening to the songs I was playing, but I was okay with that.

  9. So much for me going to sleep... Lol

  10. I posted this on the other creepy thread that got taken down but i feel i should share these stories here as well :)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Ohh man where to start? I guess the creepiest one would be best.

I was around 10 when this happened, I was sleeping at an uncles ranch he had inherited from his grandpa ( uncle married to my aunt so not my grandpa ) anyways the uncle has a son lets call him A, and I was there with a few of my cousins also ages ranging from 6-11.

So around 2 am me and all my cousins were chilling in the living room doing whatever 10 year olds do and then all of a sudden the lights out in the hallway begin to flicker. We all proceed to the window and when we look outside we see a completely naked man, just playing with the light switch. So now we are freaked the fuck out. We wake up my cousin A (the son of the uncle, he was 17 at the time so he was a lot older) and once he realizes what is going on he wakes up his parents. Now, my uncle and aunt both get up go outside and try to talk to this man but he is incoherent and doesn't understand what they are saying but catches on that they want him to get the fuck out. So he finally walks away, and my aunt and uncles go back to sleep.

Now cousin A is in the living room with all of us because I guess he wants to protect his little cousins? and about 30 minutes after the naked man left he came back. Now this time cousin A is also in the living room and when he notices the lights he does not wake up his parents.

He goes in the kitchen and I see him placing a knife in between his shirt and pants on the back ( you know where some people put their guns) and then proceeds to head outside. Now the older bunch of the "little cousins" me and 2 others ages 10 and 11 watch cousin A from the window as he nonchalantly walks up to naked man places a hand on his shoulder and calmly escorts him out of the property. We watch him cross the bridge that's over the ranch creek and disappear into the darkness.

Cousin A came back about 20 minutes later no knife, no shirt. When asked what happened he just told us not to worry anymore and that mr naked man wouldn't be back anymore. To this day he will not mention anything about what happened that night he is now 25.

    ----- on a lighter note -----

Me and a cousin were blazing in the woods where there is a little drop off that takes you out of the line of sight. After smoking for about 20 minutes we hear crazy leaves rustling and growling. We assume we are about to die from a rabies infected wolf but turns out it was just two vicious squirrels fighting

  11. Not much of a story, but randomly at my house I'll notice something in the corner of my eye, like a shadow that shouldn't be there...then I start to feel a lot emptier than I normally do. My brother notices it, too, and sometimes we'll experience it at the same time.

It's an older house (mid 1930s) and I don't know the history of it, but it's been happening to me since my family moved in when I was 4. I get it the most in my bedroom, when I was younger I couldn't fall asleep in my room because I was too scared and always slept in the guest room on a couch, eventually I was sent back to my room after my brother was born (about a year or so).

The scariest was when I was 14, my parents were downstairs, sisters were at a swim competition, and my brother was at my grandparents house, I saw what looked like a person walk by in the hallway really slow. My entire body grew cold and I didn't dare look, scared that whatever it was would see me seeing it. As soon as the feeling went away, I went downstairs and asked if either of my parents were upstairs. They weren't, so I was really irked because it never happend for long (just a quick shadow and feeling freaked for maybe half a minute). I still see it on occasion, nothing like 5 years ago.

Nobody in my family believes me or my brother, they think that we're just making it up for attention, so we both just dropped talking about it to anyone else. I think my house is haunted and the cause of my insomnia...

I've had a few other "experiences" I guess, but nothing worth posting.

Well, i think cousin A is a murderer, might wanna call the cops and never show up naked at his house, but on a different note, these are some good stories

  13. My story isnt really creepy but was scary for me .
I was 16 and had just gotten my provisional I had just seen my now ex girlfriend and they had invited me to go to Ice cream with them. I was driving over there and was taking a left turn on a green arrow .so I was free styling and was mad distracted at my sick flows ( sorry for sounding douchy but this was an idiot move and I have to talk it up xD) Anyway in my mind this was a green arrow but in reality it was a green solid and I end up t-boning this ranger over (ouch) at 30 head on. Turns out I had hit a pregnant woman and here's the kicker; she was babysitting. No one was hurt but I should have died had I not had my oldschool BMW. I was mostly thankful for the fact I hadn't killed this woman ,her baby, or the other child in the front seat. Lady i hit was super cool and I didn't have my provisional or insurance on me also a grinder in the backseat. The cops that reported were super cool and only cited me for the insurance and that got cleared in court.

  14. Creepy. I often see orbs of light fly across my bedroom at random times, and shadows. I might just be imagining them though..

I love these stories and have one to add:

When I was little (like 7 or 8) we would sleep over my gramma's house **Don't judge the spelling, that's what she always was to me <3** anyway, we are playing in the basement living room the one night and decided to go upstairs. (Her house was 2 floored, during the summer she lived in the basement and winter in the upstairs, both had kitchen, bathroom, living room, and master bedrooms.) However, upstairs there was also three additional bedrooms. One, my mom's, second, her younger sister *Who died at 5 from a brain tumor* and her brother's room, which he shared with the second dead sister. *suicide by od* Anyways, my brother, sister and me decided to explore upstairs and went looking around in these rooms. Nothing was different from when they were left. My mom's looked empty, with a made bed. The 5 yo.'s crib was still assembled with sheets on it. The other sister and brothers room looked the same as well. All of them decked out from the 70's with paint flaking off the walls. It was extremely grim and depressing in the rooms. I felt almost physically sick walking through them, and my siblings felt the same. It was gut wrenching. We ran like hell back downstairs, and tried to fall asleep which took over 2 hours. To the day my gramma passed I was never able to go in those rooms for a long period of time. They just fucked with me really bad. I mean I was 16 and terrified to step foot in the rooms. You just don't understand.

The feeling was like not sad, but a lack of happiness. Just like time had stood still in them and you could feel the death breathing down the back of your neck. I'm not saying I believe in paranormal shit, because I don't; but something was seriously wrong in those rooms. It was so melancholy like it was something out of The Fall of the House of Usher.

  16. My story is about a guy me and my friends decided to call phonebox paedo. Me and my friends were just chilling on some benches outside our local town hall and it has a phonebox next to it. Basically some old, scatty, dirty looking dude decided to go into the phonebox obviously to use the payphone right? No, instead this guy just turned around in the phonebox and just started staring down randomers and my friends. He looked like a serial killer no joke it was creepy as fuck. Even more creepy is the next day the same thing happened again :/

  17. I think your cousin killed the dude, dude.....

  18. I was physically attacked by a ghost. of course I didn't feel it, but the ghost lunged at me in an obvious "attack". I was laying in bed awake, and I just decided to turn around and face the other way. near the doorway (my boyfriend's room has a wall in the middle), I saw a fully formed human shape, including a hat. I thought it was a real person at first. it immediately lunged down at me with both arms reaching towards me. this all happened within a couple seconds. the instant it moved towards me I flung the blanket over my face and started screaming and thrashing around; I shit you not, I thought this was gonna be it. it was the most terrifying shit of my life.

it didn't help that my boyfriend woke up and decided it would be helpful to PUT HIS FUCKING HAND OVER MY MOUTH, rather than figure out why his girlfriend is behaving like somebody about to be raped and murdered.

  19. The ghost was just trying to fuck with you. Think about it, it probably gets bored all day, it needs some laughs every once in a while right?

  20. ... there's no way that stores real dude shit like that dosnt happen
