thanks for replying dean! im running house and garden nutes, 6.5 ph water, water sources quality is shit.comes out 8.0 ph . i tested my soil and seen i have high alkalinity .i found some espoma soil acidifier i was going to try out hopefully to lower it  

 

another question...im in my first week of flowering and my plants are starting to stretch a bit which is making the top get close to the light . could i take a cut from the top and shorten it a lil or would it severely stunt flowering?

 

if youre using h&g u ned to add soil a then wait 15 min then add soil b wait 15 then ph closer to 6.0 then add ur acids like drip clean, amino treatment then your roots excel ,nitrogen boost or bud xl/mutizyne. If youre using a cal mag supp. U need to add that before a and b then ph. Hope that helps. U in soil or coco?
