Drews multi-strain grow with dual 1000 watters and 240W hydro blackstar LED

I've moved to this new thread because a lot of my equipment has changed and I wanted the title to more correctly reflect my grow. Hope to see you guys hop over here from my other journal

What im doing is 3 stages of growing so I can always have a supply of quality buds by harvesting once a month.

The first stage is in my closet. I have 3 girl scout cookie clones, 1 white widow clone, and 1 carmelicious clone. I constructed a grow box out of a walmart storage bin and lined it with mylar. All the plants seem to like the reflective material. I am growing those little guys under a 45w Sunshine System LED glow panel and 1 100w CFL.

The second phase is my larger veg plants. I have these under a 240w Hydro Blackstar LED (this LED is awesome!) and 1 125w Hydrofarm CFL with a small hood. Right now the strains in this stage are sour diesel, 2 white widow, 1 carmelicious clone, 1 og diesel teen clone, and 1 sour diesel teen clone. I just LST'd the teens and topped the Sour Diesel for the last time before it goes into my flowering tent. I have one small vortex fan on the clones and one larger floor fan outside my closet pointing inside the closet. I also have a digital temperature thermometer that measures temp/humidity inside the closet and in my tent. The second phase is also in my closet. I have to close my closet door at night sometimes due to the light so I have seen temps go as high as 88, but they go down quick as soon as I open the door

My final phase is my flowering tent. The tent is 4x8x7 feet tall. For lighting I am running 1 1000w Apollo light wth an 1000w Apollo HPS bulb, Apollo 6" cool tube hood, and Apollo ballast. The other 1000w light is a hydrofarm air cooled 6" hood, (not sure of the model but it has the glass at the bottom of the hood which makes for easy bulb removal/replacement) 1000w hydrofarm xtrasun switchable ballast, and Apollo MH bulb. (the plants seem to like the mixed spectrum) For ventilation I have a 400 CFM fan that runs through both of the tubes and exhausts. The carbon filter is attached as a seperate vent system to an exhaust fan that was given to me. I also have a small clip desk fan that I attached to the side of the tent rails to blow across the tops of the girls. In the flowering tent currently I have 2 carmelicious, 1 white widow, 1 amnesia haze, and 1 Nothern Lights Auto. The auto is very close to harvest and the carmelicious plants are about a few weeks off.

All the pants will start out in 1 gallon black grow bags for easy transplant and will finish in 5 gallon fabric pots once they reach about 4 weeks. Fox farm Ocean Forest along with a slight mix of organic nutes will be the grow medium. For liquid nutes I use Fox Farm tiger bloom, big bloom, and grow big at 1/4 recommend strength.

Not too bad yet. Well see after adding the 2nd 1kw. Its been running around 175 a month but thats somewhat normal for me in the winter anyways

 

Picked up a couple of fox farm solubles so I have their complete line now and will be following the feeding schedule

What do you think gc? The white widows are really bushy. I was planning on letting them get taller but I think the led just can't penetrate to the lower branches. Flip to 12/12?

I've been sick so no time update lately. All the plants in my closet and tent are growing rapidly. Here's one of my first clones. White widow. Put it in this cup about a week ago after it rooted in rockwool

 

Harvesting my northern lights auto Sunday. Not sure what the explanation is as to how shot this plant was but the buds are rock hard. I'd definitely grow it again, but try to modify my grow of it to get it taller. Looks like ill get about 14+ grams. Stay tuned for a smoke report

 

Decided to wait another week or 2. The northern lights still appears to be putting on bud and very few if any amber trichs.

However my other girls are really talking off. The diesel is showing signs of female parts.
