If you don't know what a hempy bucket is, it's a passive hydro system with a 2 inch res at the bottom of the bucket. Almost impossible to overwater. I hear you feed feed flush, I do have an ro system and use it for nute mixing but for the flush 2 day period can I just use ph adjusted tap water that has let chlorine breath? So I don't waste more water/time or will the micro metals and ppm throw the plant for a loof since it gets ro water during feedings
u wanna let the chlorine evap so it doesnt kill ur bacteria as long as u drain ur flush water it should be fine ro or not
In a hempy u feed every 2-3 days So the none ro water will be the res maybe 1-2 days out of each week! Is that ok having the roots sit in it while it may be used to ro water
So if I run say 1-2 gallons of ph adjusted water through my hempy. I should then feed it like an hour after? I think we are on two diff pages. Day 1 feed Day 3 feed Day 5 flush Day 6 or 7 pending on plants reaction to just water, feed(repeat)
yes flushing is to clean out ur medium of excess fert salts which can build up and become toxic when u feed, feed, water that is just to give the plants a break from all the nutes
http://forums.cannabisculture.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1585267&page=all This is an awesome thread for hempy that I found. I hope this helps as I only read a couple pages and they were already talking about feed cycles and flushing.
never flush a hempy - would you flush a dwc half way through? the only flush you may need is at the end, and most recommend not to.
