Pax vs. arizer solo

  1. ya pax is pretty solid.

~7 foot drop onto my hard ground and it was fine

  2. Does any of you guys own both vaporizers?I know its kinda pointless to own 2 portables but I'm just throwing it out there.

  3. I have actually sat down for sessions with both vaporizers in person and tried them both on separate ocassions so Im not making a one sided opinion but i did end up with the solo :)

  4. Thanks I was on the fence on both vaporizers. My local head shop offered the pax to me for $200 so I bought it.Its a nice vape but I'm still not sure if its 100% for me.Does the solo have the same air resistance that the pax has?

  5. 200 is a pretty good deal on the pax for sure.

There definitely is a learning curve to hitting it. It does have some resistance to.it but the way I've found.works best is to hit it like a joint. Pull the vapor into your mouth and breathe it in.

When I first started using it I was drawing too hard, my.lips were getting burnt by the mouth piece. You know you're drawing the right speed when your lips don't get hot.

  6. If you really really don't like the air resistance then your solid with the pax. The solo has a little MORE

But Im glad it does. It makes it so its much easier on the heat element and battery life and can more easily keep a constant temp as its not pulling THAT much more air through that its gonna have to heat.

I just like the solo over the pax because its an all glass pathway. Convection heat element instead of conduction which i didn't like on my mflb i got for 90$ and i don't like it in a 200$+ vape ....... I haven't cleaned my solo since i got it, and the bowl size is like 4-5 times smaller then the pax.... And still get massive hits. That makes it too so i can judge how much i vape easier especially since i have 10+ sessions a day lol. How much i feel like vaping always changes.

But goodluck with the pax its not like u made a BAD decision. Its also an amazing vape

Thanks for the info and I think I will stay with the pax.

  8. You "think" you will?

Do you have a choice ? Pretty sure ur "stuck" with the pax since already bought and used it.... But like i said its all good in the hood

  9. I don't have to keep it since I got a coworker who is interested in it.Also I could sell it for $200 on eBay used.Ive seen them go for that.I sold my mflb on there no problem.but for now I will keep it.

  10. Oh one more thing I wanted to add, as long as you have even a PAYPAL receipt, saying you bought an Arizer Solo from somewhere, they will fix your unit or send you a new one, I bought my friend one years ago and his heating element broke somehow, so I sent them my paypal statement from ebay (didn't even SAY that it was for a solo) and they happily replaced it, I just had to pay shipping... just make SURE YOU ALWAYS keep your receipts when you buy these things, because if you do it's usually pretty easy to get them replaced... if not it's a completely different story haha :p

  11. But yeah, Arizer usually (in my experiences, owning an Extreme Q as well) has pretty GOOD customer service

  12. Thanks guys. Ordering it on Tuesday. Let ya know how I like it.

  13. I could kiss you man...

I am purchasing my first vape on Wednesday morning, and was down to these 2. I just went over to puffit and had a chat, he said the $160 deal was still good and guaranteed me the price in e-mail. I will be ordering my Solo in about 40 hours.:D

  14. Yeah that sales been around for years, its never going away.

  15. How dos anyone else sell em? I guess maybe not looking here. I just found it, and was close to purchasing for $224. I am just a bit happy. I did not see puffit come up on any of my searches. Thank goodness for this site...

I assume it is the same model as the other sites, as stated in another post.

  16. Puffit is the newest model always, and you get full warranty.

There's a couple others that will have occasional promotions for 160 as well, and you can find it on ebay for as low as 150 too. But puffitup is best that's where I got mine.

  17. Funny, I just found that Vapornation matches that $$ when you put it in the price match box, still no free 4 piece grinder though. puffit it is...

  18. Everyone complaining about the cleaning needs to relax, soak mouthpiece over night, run pipe cleaner through tube. Done.

  19. I don't know, do not have one, just read a lot about it. With the $90 price difference, it just works better for me. I partake at home 95% of the time. If it gets legal here anytime soon, will own the vapexhale cloud and a pax also. Heck I may anyway. Will be something fun to save for.

  20. And if you dont have time/forget to one night it wont work the next day when you're out and about. Then you are shit outta luck
